“I always enjoy this place. The drive through is amazing. Sarah is awesome. She always greets you with a smile and always makes you feel welcome. Not to mention the other workers are awesome as well. The food is delicious. I get the chicken bites. They’re always fresh and hot and sometimes that’s all in an extra biscuit if I go through there in the mornings and they have extra breakfast during lunchtime this little Chick-fil-A is really nice. I really like the employees. The parking lot is always clean, I never have time to go inside, but I do go through the drive-through all the time. My food is always hot and delicious. The sweet tea is amazing. I did try the fruit cup for the very first time this time and none of the fruit was brown. It was all fresh and perfect Delicious. I will be going back.”

“Came here for the first time with the family. Ordered their large Pho Combination, Meatball Pho, Honey Glazed Chicken, Spring Rolls, Fried Egg Rolls, Soft Shell Crab Special, and Grilled Pork Banh Mi. All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. The only issue that I had was there were only 2 people working in the entire restaurant and we waited for a while for our food to come out. We were only 1 of 2 customers in their restaurant. This reminded me of my parents when they ran their restaurant by themselves, but they were a lot faster. I also got charged for a Combination Pho when I only got steak and brisket. The guy who was the cashier/cook/waiter, apologized and told me he forgot my meatballs, but still charged me a Combination. They didn’t even have tendon or tripe, and when I asked, he said they give it by request. If that is the case, that is not a Combination Pho and I shouldn’t have gotten charged for that. Pho broth was clean and made very well. My large didn’t have that much rice noodles so I felt I got a little ripped off. My son had a medium and he had the same amount of noodles that I had. It more seemed to be if you want more broth vs the portions being bigger. Otherwise, the food was flavorful and delicious. If they can speed up their service and if someone ordered the Combination Pho and they actually gave them what they ordered, then I think this place would go places. The staff are friendly. Service is slow. They have a lot of tables to dine on. Their parking lot is super small, but it wasn’t busy so I don’t think you have that issue.”

Food took a minute but could tell it was just cooked and we got the tray so it was a lot of components. Definitely going again. The soup looks amazing. “We went with friends and truly didn't know what to expect. All cocktails are made with moonshine. I had a blueberry lemon drop, sweet and earthy. The blueberries were a perserve which the blueberries were grown right there in Independence. Then had a peach lemon drop that was savory and was made with peach syrup. My friend had the moonrock, it was cute and tangy. Definitely sugary. She also tried the house margarita with Patron and she enjoyed it as well. Both of our guys had Bluemoon draft beer. We ordered appetizers. We tried the duck wontons (so good), onion rings and chicken cracklins (I 10/10 recommend these). The guys had chicken wings, flavored with the mistake sauce, which consisted of 5 different flavors, garlic parmesean and the blue cheese was cajun. I had a chicken club, it's not on the menu the way I had it, just added cheese and bacon to the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potatoe fries. I ate every bite. My friend had the burger which she enjoyed. The waitress was amazing. She provided all the information needed and was extremely helpful. She let us know the specials for the day and also before we left told us the specials for the upcoming week. The restaurant really has a champion as a waitress. I am so sorry I forgot her name. I waited to long to review. Overall great place to eat.”

I think the chips would be a lot better with more salt added. Cilantro garnish for flavor and color would be a welcome addition to the plates. The carved and painted chairs and tables provided an element of Mexican atmosphere to an otherwise plain strip mall shopping center. They were unique and different. I think adding some string lights to the ceiling would really add that extra element. The server was kind and attentive.”

The food was a great blend of authenticity and millennial magic, coupled with amazing service from the entire staff. The drinks were great and I couldn’t get enough of the beans! The salsa was fantastic and didn’t taste like it was ordered in. When I asked, I learned both dishes were made in house! Every detail from the beautiful dining room mural, the cute cups and plating to the little stamps on the tortillas were positively received. The bar has been raised! My husband and I were so delighted and relieved to find South American cuisine that didn’t taste like reheated bulk goods. I would highly recommend and will absolutely be back for more.”

“This is the best donut shop I’ve ever been to! They offer a large variety of donuts, muffins and kolaches. Our favorites were the shoe lace, raspberry donut holes and crane berry and orange muffins. The service was quick and friendly! They have plenty of tables to sit inside and also a cute donut bench and table for outdoor sitting as well. I think the decor inside the store can be updated to match the quality of the donuts that they sell! The price is veryyy reasonable! I am glade we found this place while visiting Hammond! “Stopped here for lunch after hitting the outlet mall across the main road so it's in a good location. There's plenty of parking. The inside is clean and well maintained. The set-up is kind of like a sandwich shop where you can style your pizza. However, you want it with a variety of toppings, and then they cook it in a fire stove. The pizza is pretty good, I must admit. Cheesy, cooked well - no complaints about the pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of salad, so all we had was a pizza. The service was quick and friendly. What more could you ask for from a pizza place... except maybe having stuff to make a salad... but I still give them 5 stars because everything else was excellent.”

“Surprised to find a decent sushi restaurant in the area. My brother said he loves the place so we went an had some decent food. The portions were large which I have mixed feelings on. On the one hand you get a lot for the money on the other hand a better quality and presentation also goes a long way. You also do not need to order as much when the items are that large. I guess they cater to the community they are in which makes sense. Overall I would go back again next time I am down in the area.”
