Side note: I’ve been to numerous 5Star Nutritions in VA/MD/PA, and at each I’ve always recognized how each employee is always bursting with happiness to get to know you and recommend the right products to reach your goals! A complete contrast to when I step inside GNC, where the employees are usually pretty clueless and hardly lift up their eyes when you enter the store.”

“We have been utilizing Home Instead's services for just about two years now, first with Mom and Dad and now, with just Mom. They come each week day from 9am until 5pm to take care of all of Mom's needs while we're at work. Simply, they have saved her from having to go to an Assisted or Nursing facility. There is no doubt that the home care which they provide for her has extended her life and quality of life far beyond what would likely have happened in facility care. When we first started with them, we interviewed a number of potential caregivers and went through the initial processes of finding the right "fit" for everyone, including our two large dogs! Mom definitely had her favorites and Home Instead did everything within the scope of their staffing abilities to accommodate her rather finicky tastes. For the last half of a year, we have had a few of the absolute best, caring, engaging caregivers that one could hope for. More importantly, Mom is very happy and content with her routines and the help that she confidently depends on for her health and security each weekday. They even set up a 24 hour schedule which allowed me to take a break a break for the first time in more than a year! At first, I was pretty stressed about leaving her but Kim did such a great job at implementing the schedules and staffing that by the end of the six day getaway I barely knew what day it was... now that's time away! Nothing is perfect but the people that have come to take care of Mom have been so dedicated to their job and responsibilities that relinquishing Mom's day to day care and attendance has become second nature for all involved. These are truly special people that seem to care as much about my family members as they do their own.”
