“Great place for local dog lovers or families with children. Nice place for soccer, basketball, tennis, great path for dog walking, flying drones, bird watching, sledding in winter. There is a playground and several pavilions for picnics. Good location across from Finksburg library and elementary school. Usually there are dog cleanup stations with bags, but some months there is trash and not much maintenance being done. The grass is cut consistently however and sometimes I see people keeping the park clean. I personally feel since so many people frequent this park with dogs they should have another clean station and if they had locked bathrooms with a sink station for picnics then more people would visit. Also, the milkweed planted for monarch butterflies was a great idea. It’s nice to see some of them at this park in spring.”

“Beautiful Natural Place - great to bring kids, family, and dogs. There is a wheelchair accessible cement patio type area. No picnic tables, but many places to sit. No BATHROOM! Unfortunantly, this appears to be a problem to some! Right along the hiking path - On numerous occasions there are piles of human feces - which is absolutely gross. Not to mention diapers thrown about.... I wish I could fine these dirty, and ungrateful humans! NO PUBLIC TRASH CAN Bring: • you own trash bag • blanket/towel/chair • bug spray • water shoes * net (my daughter likes to catch cray fish) If we want these type of places to remain, people need to learn to respect it. Leave only your footprints, take your trash with you, and please if you need to relieve yourself, do it in a place where your fellow humans don’t have to see nor smell it!”

“A great spot to stop in the summer and cool off. There's not a lot of parking, but the kids love the water and I love the shade. Always a great place to stop in the summer months.”

“The gate is usually locked. You need to contact someone through the county to get access if it is locked.”

“The place is beautiful and the path is mostly good)) Some parts of the path are not well marked and some parts are washed out by water. Simply nice to take a good walk on the paths)) lots of birds next to the valley. ”
