“An amazing historic experience. Well maintained and manicured. Highly recommend to visit if you're in the area. Plus the drive out is absolutely gorgeous. This is a common destination for motorcyclists.”

“One of the best trails in the park! This 3 mile round trip hike can be enjoyed year round. I left from the Manor area parking lot off RT15 and made it back in a few hours. A lot more time would have been great so I could have enjoyed the scenery a little more but I was racing to beat darkness (October) at 7pm. Overall great experience. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes/boots.”

“We like hiking so we decided to try this park. There is a cost to enter the main part of the park. Once there (at the water) There is a fair amount of parking, bathrooms and a concession stand. We arrived after 1 pm and the place was very busy so if you are going to visit you may want to go early. We hiked the upper falls trail and then walked down to the waterfalls. The falls were nice but even though people were not supposed to climb on the rocks or be in the water at the falls there were a lot of people in both places who had no respect for the park rules. My suggestion for anyone visiting this park is to take the trails away from the main area.”

“Great campground!! Their seasonal sites are exceptional and the owners are always ready to help. My husband and I always have a relaxing time. The other campers are very friendly. The owners take great pride in their resort and it shows as soon as you arrive until you leave.”

“We decided to go to Beckley's after having a not so great experience at another area camping center. Greg helped my family find the fifth wheel trailer that was perfect for us and we love it. He continues to help and offer quick responses even after the sale. I highly recommend Beckley's and suggest you have Greg match you up with your dream camper.”

“Beautiful park with a creek a lake and lots of wooded trails through the woods. Also a very nice but challenging disc golf course, good baseball, and soccer fields, a few large pavilions with a big playground. Lastly, my favorite, lighted tennis courts that are shaded in the late afternoon and evening.”

“Lack of resupply along the way and after lock 30 the sparseness of water, restrooms and lock house options farther uo the trail were disappointing. Lack of information along the way about each lock or historical data from the most important part of the start of the train eras and boating for the Potomac river.”

“They just expanded the playground. Nice walking path around park. Nice pavilion with restrooms. Great for taking the kids and dog. There is a creek that goes through the park with a bridge and the creek lines the back portion of the park which is wonderful.”
