Starting from the moment you walk in, the lovely shades of pink and brown set a perfect ambiance to accompany the wafting aroma of coffee and mint chip. I truly felt as though I was standing in the foothills of Geneva. Watching the sun rise as I could feel the mountain dew graze my neck, this all led up to superior service with a smile. The shop curator was so knowledgeable its as though she harvested the beans herself. The pastry holes I ordered were a splash of ecstasy as the flavors swelled my mouth with satisfaction. “Always a favorite, we stopped in to Uncle Julio’s after work. The food was great as always and the service was exceptional. They were extra nice to our two teenage boys and insisted on a complementary dessert to reward them for their manners and our frequent flier status. The chocolate lovers piñata thrilled the boys and we really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the waitress and manager. We will be back again soon. This location is always crowded on weekends so I would recommend reservations or calling ahead during peak times.”

We always sit outside with the dog and all the other dog people. There is parking by the rear entrance and you can also walk or bike up to the front entrance on Connecticut Ave. It looks like quite a few people go to both Einstein and the neighboring Starbucks.”

“So I did enjoy the food. The only thing that I would say is everything was smaller portions for other Mexican places I have been to. From the drinks to the food. I noticed everything was on the spicier side and a little expensive. I do like spicy but the salsa that came with the chips were a bit spicy for the kids. The enchiladas and fajitas had a kick to it as well. But overall good. We didn’t have to wait to be seated even though when we pulled up and saw the parking lot. We definitely thought it would be a long wait. Also they gave the kids a push pop as a dessert that automatically comes with the kids meals.”
