“Looked around a few places I knew of to get an eyebrow piercing, and called to make an appointment. I ended up having to wait about 25 minutes because Rachel (she does the piercings) was with someone and someone else was waiting to swap out some jewelry. Wasn't an issue for me since I'm patient and she explained what was going on. Anyway! She did a great job with the placement and the whole poke didn't take long at all (I'm actually glad she didn't use a clamp either). She made me feel super comfortable and it was really chill. Anything involving needles can bring anxiety but hearing how excited Rachel was about doing an eyebrow was pretty calming. She loves what she does and it shows! Will definitely look for her when I get another piercing.”

The reviews written in the last few days are from a group of vindictive individuals who have chosen to stoop to hateful bully tactics and threatening an elderly woman in an effort to close her business because they have chosen to get themselves in the middle of a neighbor issue that they have no business being involved in. Sharing incorrect information. Pretending to be customers when they have never used her company. Harassing and threatening her and her employees.. There are three sides to every story and perhaps before making hateful efforts to destroy a business they should hear the other two sides unless they can say they have never said anything hateful and hurtful in the height of an argument. I will not excuse the comments that were recorded by the neighbor who later shared with zero relevant context but hate begets hate and it is only through love lasting change can be made. Perhaps before destroying lives and threatening the elderly they could instead be the change they want to see in this world. That is if they truly wish to make a lasting difference.”

“While exploring a few historic sites in Germantown and Gaithersburg, I stopped by historic Poolesville. It's a little strip of over two dozen old buildings many of them restored into local businesses. One of the more intriguing buildings looks like a general store It's the Calleva Farm Store. It's a small farm store with a self-service check out (talk about honor system!). They sell local chocolate, coffee beans, jams, drinks and produce. It's such a fun experience! I spent $3 on two delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!”
