My guidance counselor whose name i cant remember had a huge impact on my life to this day, he would take the kids who he thought were ready into groups and talk about tolerance and understanding (and we got to watch fat albert for metaphors!) and would go out of his way to individually connect with kids so you felt like you always had someone on your side. Never had that anywhere else growing up, wish i could remember his name.”
