“I remember the first time I went to her studio. It was years ago. A friend of mine was kind enough to assist in putting a home perm in but unfortunately my hair was fried and thinned. I thought I'd have to cut off my hair. I found her salon on internet because I was tired of paying high prices of D.C. Stylists. Doll was very welcoming, and if she thought my hair was a hot mess I couldn't tell. She assured me I wouldn't have to cut my hair. She gave my hair various hair masks, made suggestions of what vitamins to take and put in my hair. She even suggested, without being overbearing, that one could pray on health mind soul body including hair. On that day my hair looked healthy and continued to improve as I utilized her regimen. Most times I'd come in for my usual coif. Being the on trend person she is she'd pleasantly surprise me when I'd ask for something different. She does permed and natural heat trained Styles very well. On all types of hair I've seen her do other types but I'm a 4b. I have had my natural fro now so I do maintenance myself for most part but Doll is a positive part of my hair journey past.”

“I had an excellent experience with Roger Gelb. He's very professional. I was once represented by an accident lawyer who didn't speak to clients directly, and employed rude staff that didn't always respond. Roger always took my calls or called me back promptly. He was very transparent. He showed care in handling my case, and gave great advice. In addition, he worked hard to get me the best settlement possible. I was concerned about receiving a very low settlement because I had a preexisting condition, but that's why he was recommended to me, and that didn't seem to be a factor for him. “This gym is great. Can't say enough good about it. All the coaches are great, knowledgeable, and helpful. The other members are much the same. The workouts are effective, challenging, and usually pretty fun. They're revamping the workouts presently as well, and they promise to be even better. Looking forward to that. Been going here on and off for about 2 years and finally got a full subscription this past summer, and it's been well-worth the cost. Edit/update: it's been about half a year since I got a full membership, normally going 4 times a week. This programming is BRUTAL but I'm probably in better shape now than when I was in the military. I'm stronger, more mobile, feel better, and look better. The flexible class times are really clutch and there aren't enough good things to say about the coaches. Everyone is helpful and encouraging while still having distinct coaching methods. Love this place.”

“I LOVE FLORAS!!!. my boyfriend is cameroonian, I'm American. I had pretty much convinced myself I only like his family's cooking when it came to african food.. but flora's changed the game.. My favorites are the stewed chicken, the cassava leaf, the whole grilled fish w/plantains, and the suya. SHE ALSO MAKES FISH ROLLS!!! my favorite snack.. you can only pre-order the fish rolls. But that's still a plus that she even makes them at all. The service is very pleasant.. the ONLY TINY issue, is because of the overwhelming amount of customers, the turn around time is about 1 hour or more. AGAIN..NOT a problem for us, because we plan for it. We order our food about 2 hours before we are ready to eat it, and kind of just make our way there later..and the food no matter when we arrive is ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH. I DO NOT LIKE SPICY FOOD. BUT my boyfriend has informed me that SPICE is the staple for African food.. so I pray each time I order its not too spicy.. and it's most of the time perfect. A few times I've had to pass the plate to him..and he HAS NOT been mad about it😅. HIS FAVORITES are everything I've already listed.. but ultimately the Ndole (bittaleaf) is his go to meal. The jollof is phenomenal. Love this place. We are committed regulars ❤”

He was professional, and courteous and made us feel welcome at the dealership. He explained all the ins and outs of our new car clearly and informatively. He was very patient with me (as I am not very computer savvy!) To be honest, we had first gone to another Toyota dealer closer to home and were not happy with the atmosphere there.
