“I recently boat a 2006 28' pre-owned Chaparral from Knot 10. My salesman was Will Tate and I was very happy with my boat buying experience and dealing with Will as well. I have owned multiple boats in the past 22yrs and had to buy them from several marinas and boat brokers as well. This most recent purchase from Knot 10 was by far the smoothest and most enjoyable boat purchase that I've ever had. Here is why I thought Will makes a great boat salesman. 1. He didn't lie to me or try to rush me into buying anything. 2. He always returned my calls, texts and emails in the same day and he is a really nice guy as well. 3. He owns his own large boat. Some boat salespeople have never even owned their own boat which is crazy to me. 4. I originally wanted to buy a 26' Sea Ray on the lot but then changed my mind, and bought the 28' Chaparral instead. Some other boat salesmen would have had an issue with that but it didn't bother Will at all. 5. He was knowledgeable about boats and boat equipment in general. He was able to answer all of my questions. Most other boat salesmen that I've dealt with were uneducated and lazy. I didn't have any of those issues dealing with Will. 6. And lastly he made this whole process happen quickly. We did the sea trial on a cold 32 degree day. He got the boat re-winterized within 1 hour of getting back to the dock which was very important to me. I used Trident funding and they were fast and super easy to deal with as well. Trust me if your looking to buy a boat, go to Knot 10 and see Will Tate. You will not be disappointed and I highly recommend using them compared to the competition. I'm already saving up for my next boat which will be the Regal 33OBX. Looking forward to having Will sell me that boat too!!”

“Great group of people that work at Shore Tackle & Custom Rods. I’ve bought multiple rods there and had multiple rod guides and eyes replaced by Joe and Bill. They’ve always been very patient and listen to my needs for fishing Tackle and rods. The quality of their rods and their ability to set you up with the right one for the type of fishing you’re doing is what sets them apart from anywhere else I’ve been. I did read a review on here about a guy that broke a rod trying to lift a skate into the boat. I too broke one of my rods on a skate doing the same thing. However I know that the rod broke because I was trying to muscle the fish up so I could retrieve my lure which was stupid of me to try. I “owned it “and didn’t expect them to warranty it. Graphite rods are not designed to do that. You can’t pull a huge fish or skate into the boat with the rod. You have to lip the fish along side the boat if it’s or just cut the line by the boat if it’s a skate. I just felt it was necessary to add this to my review so other buyers understand if these rods break it’s because they’re being using incorrectly or slammed in a car door. Rods are not meant for lifting the fish out of the water into the boat.?”
