“Is well worth the visit! Thanks It is not just one museum as we had thought but a collection of museums and a lighthouse that had been moved to the museum grounds. The lighthouse is really special as you can walk up the spiral staircase inside and they have the living quarters and personal belongings of the person that manned the lighthouse just as they had been long ago. The museums are fantastic with many old wooden fishing & crabbing boats with a short description on the history of each. There are many other very interesting artifacts from the fishing and crabbing days on the Chesapeake Bay and a real working boatyard where you can actually see wooden boats being built. If you are in Annapolis there is a ferry from Annapolis to the museum. If you are visiting the Chesapeake Bay area you do not want to miss this museum & lighthouse.”

“Ice cream is delicious. And ultimately, that's all that counts, right? The variety of far-out and unique flavors is imaginative and awe-inspiring. They're also great at the traditional flavors. For lovers of malted milkshakes, ask for extra malt - they'll accommodate, and won't be cheap with the malt. A great place to take the kids. If they have Justin's to look forward to, they'll tolerate the grown-ups shopping for art, antiques and the like.”

“An extremely noteworthy stop on the St. Michaels stroll. First off, it's absolutely free to taste all of their products. Olives, oils, balsamic, honey, brownies, syrup... the list goes on. A great assortment of items and all very unique. I opted for a 6 bottle variety pack (3 oils, 3 balsamic) based on their pairing suggestions. Whether you purchase or not, be sure to stop in for a very memorable experience!”

“The 5 Gables Inn is nice. Great location. However walls in the main building a paper thin. Like staying in a tent between the rooms. Some nuts in the next room got into an altercation and made for a tough night. Hotel management came and quieted things down. We left in the morning after a nice breakfast. Didn’t ask for any compensation but may look for another place to stay next time in St Michaels.”

“I discovered B's Stitches while at a conference in St. Michaels and loved doing business by phone with Bonnie for several years until arthritis put an end to my needlepoint passion. Her knowledge of threads and her eye for colors and textures is extraordinary. Whether working with Bonnie or with Stitchery Square in Camden, Maine, it was always my practice to buy extra thread and/or yarn because everyone stitches a little differently or wants more border, or wants to make some changes. I never regretted spending the few extra dollars. When my fingers failed I was able to send to my granddaughter a lovely assortment of yarns which she is now using for all sorts of crafts.”

“We drove to St Michaels to do some antiquing.. Well this time of year I wouldn't do that again as this little shop was the only one open. But they have a nice selection of different collectibles. It's a quaintly, cute place just like the town. We enjoyed poking around the shop & strolling down main Street.”
