Kathy could not have been more gracious - her breakfast was spectacular and it didn't stop there - there were wonderful homemade snacks, the patio for breakfast had a magnificent view, her gardens are beautiful, the room was lovely. I had a wonderful time, and she is a wealth of knowledge about seemingly everything, very much including nearby Civil War sites, which I was here to check out, hikes, shopping... her restaurant recommendations were excellent. A fun addition is her expertise in teaching shiatsu facials to do yourself, and the opportunity to try on wonderful organic facial products which I greatly enjoyed. Highly recommend!”

We order the chicken tenders for an appetizer which was perfect for the 4 of us. Then we had fish and chips and crab cake sandwich. The fish is a big fish and it has tons of fries! Our daughter both wanted fish and chips. Our girls shared one order (adult size) and had fries and fish left over. The coleslaw was very good as well. *For parents with kids in diapers, there is no changing table and there is no surface to use to change a diaper. The bathroom is a single toilet and is really small. That said, it is big enough for a parent and child to go into the bathroom together - my two daughters and myself all fit in there without any issue.”
