“The canal is one of the most accessible park area in the DC area. The canal towpath is almost completely flat and can be easily walked or biked. The trail isn’t paved, so wheel chair access would be bumpy but not impossible. Expect to see some birds and small wildlife. Views of the Potomac are slightly obstructed but the sound of the river adds great ambiance.”
