“This a great biker campsite close to the river. I can't comment on the bugginess since I have not been here during the summer, but it seems really nice. There is a portapotty, fire ring, picnic table, and a fair amount of flat ground for a tent. The water pump is missing it's lever and does not work.”

“Lori and Cap are two of the most charming humans you could run into running the sweetest Marina you can imagine. The bathrooms are kept clean and tidy, there's a pool in the summer months that's great for cooling off when it's hot. And there's lovleypavilon with picnic tables for shade and two grills for use. I can't recommend north point enough”

“My husband and I spent two nights of our honeymoon at Haven Point Inn and can't say enough good things about our experience! We were welcomed and treated like family our entire stay. The owner, Judith, is such a sweetheart and also a great cook ...(breakfast is served each morning to all guests at 8:30). She and her husband have a very unique gift shop that boasts photography, paintings and gorgeous hand made jewelery and fine wines. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!”

The owner is a delightful hostess and breakfast at the onsite Muskrat Alley Cafe is included with your stay! Best coffee in town and the breakfast choices are made fresh to order. Guests have access to the beautifully maintained gardens, huge deck with table, chairs & umbrella and shaded outdoor seating at ground level and use of bicycles. Enjoy spectacular unobstructed views of the Blue Heron Park which is home to a couple Osprey families. Perfect spot to enjoy a weekend getaway anytime of the year in small town Rock Hall”

“Adorable, serene place for breakfast or lunch! Everyone is friendly and it is just such a peaceful setting. Word of advice: don't go if you're looking for something quick. It took forever to order and even longer to get our food. It's such a nice setting we didn't mind, but if we only had an hour or so, it wouldn't have worked. I think this is because it's such a small operation and I imagine one person is preparing all the food.”

“I've never stayed at a Super 8 before , I'm either at a Ritz level or at an Extended Stay America , never an in between. I drive back and forth to Boston, Raleigh and Atlanta. Because of the weather my drive got extended and I was beat . Got some gas and saw a sign for Super 8 and without a reservation I was able to get a nice room for the evening. The manager on duty William has the right amounts of charisma and work focus that impressed me. The parent company of the hotels is running system updates like 11pm to 4 am or when ever their IT maintenance window is, and he was aware of that and made sure my card didn't get double charged and that all my info was correct. Here's where it gets crazy , the outside of this facility looks like a standard motel building but inside it was great. See attached pictures and sorry my stuff was everywhere. Modern , clean and the best part even though I didn't partake ? A format of room service. If you're making that long drive through the US and are in this area, this hotel is a great experience. Room was perfect and we'll maintained. I was truly impressed from customer service at check in to the room itself.”

“Nice shelter right next to a parking lot. This is great for when you want to do a little camping but want easy access so you can lug food or firewood you normally wouldn't when you're doing some proper backpacking. The shelter has always been clean when I've been there. There's some overflow camp tent pads nearby but they are kind of annoying to pitch in and are on a slope.”

“This was our first stay here and it won't be our last. I can't say enough about what a lovely time we had. Everything is just exactly as it should be. The Inn is beautiful! We stayed in the Antietam Room (the old summer kitchen) that still has the original fireplace. They clearly pay close attention to detail. The decorations for Christmas were ideal on top of an already perfect blend of history and contemporary touches. We only booked here as a way to get away for the weekend. We didn't have any specific plans or places to be. Miriam is a perfect host and a wealth of knowledge for all the nearby spots to venture and explore. The breakfast menu was amazing and the food was fantastic. Eggs Benedict, homemade vanilla custard with pomegranate seeds, THE BEST BACON EVER!! Tea, pressed coffee, orange juice, mango juice, pastries, fresh baked bread. When you stay here you aren't treated as a customer you're treated as family and I'm very much looking forward to my next reunion with the Cunninghams”
