“Not the greatest but not the worse. The staff is far from nice and welcoming. The facility in nice and clean and the room was as well. The bed is very comfy and laundry rooms and ice machine are provided(ours was not working at the time of our stay, but other floors had them). They do not have free breakfast unfortunately, which you could get the same room off base that offers free breakfast for the same price range. They do offer sundries and beverages in their small food room but it’s only available for purchase. The back part of it is very nice and spacious. It offers chairs and a gazebo to smoke under.”

“The Hotel at The University of Maryland was beautiful and made for a very comfortable stay. The amenities are top-notch, the decor is very modern and comfortable, and the atmosphere and aesthetic exuded class. My one gripe is that the regular rooms do not include a microwave for heating up food late at night, as the public microwave provided in the gift shop is no longer available when they close.”

“This is a beautiful facility and a very large campus. The food is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful. My only complaint would be that the guest rooms (Not the suite's) are on the tiny side. Especially if you are carrying a lot of conference supplies or a larger person. But other than that I love the facility and staff.”

“Saw the "Charlie Brown Christmas" ice display here. In one word - AWESOME!! You had to keep reminding yourself that almost all of the sculptures were made from ice. There's even a video display that explains how the color is added to the ice, etc. Staff was courteous and helpful. Event was well run!! Well worth the price of admission.”

“This is actually a very nice facility. The rooms are large and comfortable, clean and well maintained. There is a nice area to relax on the rooftop, and much of the campus is easily walked about. I'd happily stay here again. That being said, there are a few things that would be better changed. Most convenient outer doors are locked to entry, and do not allow entry even with room keys. Food within the hotel is still, at best, but I do appreciate the list of nearby facilities that do have reasonable food for eligible guests.”

“Overall a nice hotel. I was told they renovated not that long ago. The room was nice and big. The M lounge was nice as well. The one draw back I have about this hotel is that they have a gnat problem. I had dinner in the restaurant and had to fight off the gnats from my food. Not an experience you want while eating.”

“Beautiful casino and hotel. I ate at the Food Court and got Fried chicken and donuts. DELICIOUS!!! And they give you a lot of food, not a little cutesy portion. I also had an ice cream cone and sampled some of the ice cream and sorbet. Visited Felt and Blossom... Felt is so classic! Blossom has casino games and more people. Absolutely LOVED their Christmas decorations too. It's definitely on my list of grown-up spots to visit with my friends for a fun night out!”

“For a free park, it is not bad at all. It's a historical site which you can learn about more if you want, or you can mind your own business and take a walk in the nature while petting cows and getting chased by roosters. Parking lot closes at 4:30 so not an evening activity.”

Long story short, the staff (Tasia and MGR) did all they could to accommodate me in this messy situation. They are some of the most kind, generous, and professional people I've worked with. Thanks to them, I was able to stay as planned at a special rate. Their generosity and hospitality definitely made this trip one to remember - not for how bad it went, but for how good it ended up.”
