“Spending 4 hrs. with Captain Jim and Kent Island Boat Charters was a great way to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary!! Captain Jim did everything he could in providing my wife and I with plenty of great memories:-) His knowledge of the Chesapeake and professionalism was outstanding as he made us feel like it was "our" boat for the entire 4 hour cruise. The non-alcoholic drinks, lunch and available snacks were great to have offered on our private voyage! The boat was spotless and Capt. Jim provided us with the most comfortable ride considering the water conditions. Safety is #1 in his book and I felt extremely safe to have him take us out for the day. “I hired Paul for two days in April and May 2021 on my new to me boat to help me learn how to handle dual engines and a larger boat in and out of a tight boat slip. Great teacher. We walked through all the major systems and safety. Practical advice and guidance on establishing checklists and routines. Very patient and very comprehensive. He is engaging from the moment you contact him and remains helpful after working with you. If your new to boating, or in my case needing more experience and confidence on a new boat, I highly recommend Paul. He is also great with families. My two young daughters were with me for the second day and he managed to keep them from being bored, which is no small accomplishment.”

“Cedric arrived ten minutes before our scheduled departure, which gave us the extra time needed for my party of 4 with 9 bags. He was professional, courteous, and super friendly. We arrived to our destination safely as Cedric expertly took us into Crystal City, an hour north of our point of embarkation. His driving speed was perfect, the van was spacious AND has seat belts for every passenger, and his rate is extremely reasonable. I canceled the Uber to the airport because Cedric is picking us up; he is now our driver of choice anytime we return to the DMV! Thanks, Cedric, for delivering this “precious cargo” safely.
