Cousins Automotive

Have had Nate and Butch from Cousins automotive work on my 57 year to year. I know that the best car care is given to the car and the issues are resolved quickly. Nate has tuned a great shop into a really great shop for car care. Highly recommended.

Today, I had my very first appointment at Cousins to have a pre-purchase inspection performed on a work vehicle we are considering buying. On my way there, my OWN car started making a horrible grinding noise. Of course, by the time I got to the shop it had stopped but upon explaining what happened Nate offered to take it for a drive to see if he could recreate it. NO LUCK but we'll learn more about that later. Anyway, getting back to the original reason I was there: the pre-purchase inspection. They were ready to perform the service at the appointment time specified, and once complete, they provided me with a clear and concise overview of the vehicle's condition in the form of a verbal report and printed list of facts, not opinions. They took time to answer any questions I had on their findings AND they even took a cell phone video to show ME some of what they saw so it wasn't left to the imagination. Then, as I was leaving, they (Nate and Butch) told me if my car starts making the grinding noise again to bring it right back in. Well, I got as far as the Little Wolf Coffee Shop and the noise was back. I headed back to the shop only to have the noise stop AGAIN before I arrived. Nate took it out for yet another test drive and, thankfully, this time it happened while HE was driving it. Nate put it up on the lift, it turned out to be a minor problem and he fixed it right away. The car ran fine after that and I'm happy to say no more grinding noise! Cousins provides prompt, professional and courteous service. They're great guys and they've earned my business!

Outstanding work from an honest shop at a reasonable price. I have a Chevy Suburban that needed a massive job done on short notice and the owner , Nate Cousins, came in on his day off to finish the work since he knew I used the truck for my job. Several of my co workers have gone to Nate over the years and all of them give the same praise. Definitely give this shop a shot if you are looking for a great mechanic.

What a wonderful auto body shop! I had to reschedule and they were so accommodating and friendly! I’ve never had customer service like Nate and Butch! It’s so nice to finally have a mechanic I can trust and get great service from. I’ll be going here from now on, what a great little find! Highly recommend them!
