  We had another wonderful and authentic Italian dinner at Giuseppe's Restaurant this past Saturday night, while celebrating our son's birthday. The waitress was friendly, timely, and made us feel like family. The food was simply outstanding. Outside of the North End, this is a gem of an Italian restaurant that serves homemade food..from the pasta to the meatballs to the sauce. Everything was delicious.

  They have fresh and delicious take out Italian dishes. Small Italian grocery and meat section as well, if I want to make my own dinner. Great spot!

  Very nice place! First time going and was not disappointed. Much bigger and nicer on the inside than the outside would lead you to believe. Portion size was generous. Menu was (too?) huge with tons and tons of Italian fare. Thanks for the great meal!

  Excellent food. Great Italian classics, but also sandwiches, stew and chicken noodle soup. Walk in and order from take-out menu a fresh hot meal or hero sandwich, or sit down in the restaurant, or grab and go options from the refrigerator. They also have trays to order or grab and go for a party. Even pastries and desserts, too. Nothing like it around. Always crowded but everything moves right along. I really wanted to give 5 stars but cannot because the one very important thing they shockingly don't have is good Italian bread. They have some weird soft bread that looks like Italian bread, but sadly isn't. Its more like a hot dog bun. Why Giuseppe? Why do you serve that bread? Maybe you can order bread from Christie's. They have real Italian bread.

  Good family style Italian food with generous portions and a menu with many old school favorites. Waitress was very helpful and efficient. The owner, Giuseppe, even stopped by to say hello and see how we were doing. If you're looking for fancy this is not your place, just good comfort food at reasonable prices.
