“Gloucester House for lunch was delicious. We started with the fried clams to share at the table followed by a crock of clam chowder. We ordered Lobster rolls we (one of each hot or cold to share). Everything was prepared perfectly and our service was excellent! Sit out on the bench for a water view.”

“Had to replace the roof over the main house and attached garage (shingles), a sun room (flat rubber), as well as a bay window (copper roof). Got quotes from 3 businesses, and right away I felt most comfortable with William. His quote was reasonable, the product he offers (Certainteed) one of the best, and most importantly I knew he would be up on the roof with his crew ensuring the best installation possible. He was very accommodating, answering all my questions and helping me decide on color, etc. The work was top notch and William ensured everything was to my satisfaction. I recommend him for any roofing work wholeheartedly!”

“Simple street food done very very well. We stopped into Gloucester for a quick walk on the beach and made our way around to the town. With the large selection of food available, we decided to sit by the water, on the dock and have some food. We were blown away by the seafood, the buns are so so, same as everywhere else, but the lobster in the roll was fabulous. The chowder was as good, if not better, than most places in the large area ! Definitely worth a stop.”

“Great trip with Captain Domenic. We caught lots of mackerel and two large strippers. We saw a school of seals. He fileted the fish for us on the boat. He's a knowledgeable and very personable captain. Would definitely go again.”

“We enjoyed our stay immensely!! The hotel offers comfort and style with great rooms, bar and wonderful dining experiences. Not to mention a very warm and welcoming concierge Beauport Bob. Bob is very engaging with all visitors who stay at Beauport. From informing you of a great bakery in the area, to whats happening with local attractions making sure your visit is enjoyable and memorable one. I would however schedule your stay during the week as the hotels main venue is accommodating weekend weddings. Esther & Kevin”

“I went to first time that place , everything amazing. We came for the visit that area after we check the google for dinner restaurant. Very peaceful view we watched the sunset during the dinner. Food was very delicious. Scallop, shrimp taco, lobster pancake I ordered . Only service was very slow because it was very crowded. It was really great night for me and my friends . Thank you ????????”

“Had a number of screens replaced here a year ago and they came out great. Prices were very reasonable and turn around time was fast. Came back this year to have a number of glass shelves and glass pieces made for kitchen cabinet doors and the prices just blew away 5 other quotes I received. $105 for the 7 small pieces I ordered and $15 for install on the 3 doors. These are the prices of 5 other glass companies - $129, $162 - reasonable but then - $332(+$65 for install), $429, $447. B&R will continue to gain my business and referrals.”

“A fantastic bike shop with outstanding customer service! I’ve been a regular with several bike shops around the country. The folks at Riverside (sales and service) always exceed my expectations. I’ve witnessed Phil, Ryan and Scott consistently deliver grins and happy smiles to riders even on a busy Saturday when the shop is swamped. This spans everything from quickly fixing a flat or adjustment of a seat on a family bike to tuning high end bikes to deliver a better, smoother and optimized ride. Sales is awesome too. It’s never just a transaction; Tom & Ryan are the real deal. They ride consistently; ride what they sell; and make sure you are delighted with your purchase. This applies to everything small (buying a water bottle cage or lights to make commuting safer) to large (demoing multiple bikes to make sure you find the ride that you love vs the ride you just like). Their group rides are outstanding too. If you are looking for a wonderful shop, stop in and introduce yourself. Shops with people this good are far and few between, I highly recommend Riverside.”
