My husband was a rehab. Patient at Aberjona
From 4/10 to 4/27 following surgery at MGH.
His care was outstanding . RN.s; PT.s; OT.s
did an excellent job. My husband had PT; OT 6-7 days a week. The nurses; nursing assistants
Were beyond kind and competent!
The food was good . The facility was immaculately clean. Every person he ( and we)
encountered were positive ; encouraging and upbeat. They , literally got my husband “ on his feet”! I am a retired nurse and a critical observer of all of his care.
If there were 10 stars available , they would have gotten 10 STARS!!

It is a difficult time to have a loved one in a nursing home but Aberjona has made the transition during this especially difficult time easier. My aunt feels very well taken care of. They are caring and the staff has made sure she is comfortable. The 3rd floor head nurse, Beverly, has been wonderful, she comes to the phone, answers my questions. The social worker Laurie Difranco has been amazing, she answers me right away and if it's not the same day I know she is busy or off that day because she gets back first thing the next day. Also wonderful have been the nurses Beth and Barbara. I wish I knew everyone's name who has helped my aunt, she tries to see their names but sometimes the badges are covered by their gowns. The staff at reception have also been wonderful, on the phone and when we drop things off. My aunt always enjoys her meals too. I am a home health care therapist and I know when i have a patient who was at Aberjona that they received very good care and they always have good things to say about the facility.
