“Being 48 and still wanting to push myself but in a way that reflects my age and past surgeries is exactly what Donna gives me. Pounding music and a room full of 20 or 30 somethings, might be motivational but I have found when working with Donna, she is so well educated in the body. Having to go through her own recovery in the past, there is a sense of knowledge, respect, and motivation that I value more than ever. Her location is perfect in Belmont Center with plenty of parking in the center's parking lot. If you have ever hesitated on how to get back to being physically fit, the attention to detail, flexibility to work with your needs and not her "program", and her engaging personality is everything you will be looking for. I did.”

“This place saved my life. The staff were personable and caring. The doctors were amazing. The therapy and meal plans are TOUGH but the staff works through it with you every step of the way. The groups were difficult and, of course, as was therapy but I made a huge breakthrough at Klarman. We weren’t cut off from the outside world either. At certain levels we could go on outings (whether with family, friends, significant others, or other patients at the same level) in “the real world.” Visitors were allowed, we were allowed to have our phones at specific times. Yes, this place is a hard one to be at. Yes, you will get triggered at some point. Yes, you will go through a lot of difficult emotions. But this place may very well be where you start your road to recovery. If you are looking at this review because you’re about to be admitted: You. Got. This. Do your best. Ask for help. Don’t be afraid to get honest with yourself and your medical team because will only benefit you in the end. Embrace this oppurtunity as much as you can no matter what.”

“I've been visiting DR Matossian since I was a child- he has been great, the only reason I no longer go is that we moved down the cape, and even then I wish I could make the commute for the visit!”

“As soon as I took my first lesson with Elaine Lin, I knew I’d arrived at the right place. Yes, it is a hands-on experience, but she has a light touch and uses both physiology diagrams and Kermit the Frog to demonstrate the optimal way to stand, sit, and move. After about 8 lessons I have developed new habits (that I'm able to remember most of the time) for standing, sitting, and walking. (Remembering is the hardest part.) For me, aside from eliminating sciatica pain, the best result is that I have gained more confidence in my outward presentation than I’ve ever had in my 68 years. You cannot learn the Alexander Technique from a book. Lessons are essential, and I would recommend Elaine to anyone without reservation. She will tailor the lessons to your needs and will repeat something as many times as necessary until you get it right. If you look at her website, you'll see that she uses fewer, longer lessons to teach the whole course. To me this was important.”
