“I have been attending the Braintree location since it opened in the spring of 2018. Prior to that I attended the Avon location. Grace is more than just a church, these people are my family. The Braintree location is small but I feel that is what makes it great. The more intimate setting helps you recognize people from week to week and allows you to connect with them on a more personal level. I thought it would be disappointing not having an in person teaching from a Pastor(Braintree has a Video feed of the live teaching from Avon) but it wasn’t. It helps you to realize the “church” really is the people and making connections with each other is the important part. When I first started attending I kept hearing the term “Church Family”. I didn’t fully understand what that meant until my mom became ill and people started reaching out offering assistance. Pastor Taylor is amazing. My mother recently passed away and he officiated the services. Two weeks later, my extended family (who are not followers of Jesus) are STILL talking about the amazing job he did and have expressed interest in visiting Grace Church because they were so impressed with his message. Prior to her passing, Pastor Taylor visited my mother multiple times and prayed with her. Everyone is so welcoming and genuine and the atmosphere really makes you want to come back week after week. The vibe is definitely “come as you are”, judgement free! One thing I was impressed with when I first started attending is the way they break down barriers. From the time you enter the parking lot, to walking in to the building, to the coffee and snacks. There is always someone there to point you in the right direction and help guide you. Don’t be surprised if multiple people introduce themselves to you upon your first visit. If you have been looking for a church and been on the fence, give Grace a chance. You wont be disappointed!!!!”
