(February 26, 2019, 4:09 pm)Great place for strolling, biking, roller blading and looking at the mysterious old buildings of the former mental hospital and imagining what life was like there. Adjacent to it is a very nice trail along the Charles River.

(November 30, 2018, 4:42 pm)really neat. I wish they let you inside (at your own risk) or had some historical information available, but then again I'm glad we get to go in at all. ;) I recommend!
(October 2, 2018, 12:17 pm)BE CAREFUL - The last time I went there was an uncovered manhole (see photos).This is a very creepy but peaceful place to walk around, thankfully it's open to the public! I have only been during the day because although I don't believe in the supernatural this place looks like a great place for that sort of thing. I could spend hours here looking in windows and taking photos but I haven't been back in a few years so I don't know the current condition. Just the architecture alone is worth visiting this site!
