“An actor having a speech impediment is not the best idea. I decided to continue acting and ignore my speech impediment. I go to an arts high school and this past year my acting teacher told me that it was time I went to speech therapy. I have not met many high school students going to speech therapy so I thought how would I ever do this? Yet, one recommendation later I was headed to Elyse to fix my "r's." Little did I know it was my whole tongue that was the problem. Elyse gave me exercises to gain a stronger tongue so I could speak the right way and have better diction overall.
