No worries about checking the sandwich or bag for ordered items. The order is completed correctly the first time and always with a smile. Unlike many delis that forget the condiments as requested. 5 South Main is on my short list for low key, delicious creative sandwiches and soups from the menu or interesting specials from the blackboard. Great desserts as well. Dinners with a beer and wine license. Sunday brunch too. Tables outside for warm weather dining. Highly recommended.”

“Classic New England preserved town common. Bounded by N. Main Street and Highland Ave which were laid out in 1695 and anchored by the First Parish Meetinghouse of 1747 in its center. Open grass areas are used for community events and a small shallow pond is used for skating in the winter. Lining the common include the town hall, Second Parish church, St Stephens church and private homes most of which were built in the mid-18th and mid-19th century. The common is the centerpiece of the larger Cohasset Common Historic District which covers a total of 24 acres and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.”
