“We loved our stay here! The breakfast is fantastic, and such a variety of delicious foods. Nancy and Bill are very welcoming and one feels comfortable right away. Their coffee is great! We stayed in “Tree Tops “which provided plenty of space to spread out, with very comfortable beds! One is able to walk “Marblehead” easily from here. Thanks very much Bill and Nancy for the quality touches throughout! Sincerely, Suzanne & Mark”

“Better than most 5 Star Hotels I have stayed! Warm and Comfy! I travel a lot for work and usually the Hospitals I contract for put me up in a mid to high tier Hotels but this time I was given a choice and I am so glad I chose The Beacon in Hull! I stayed in the Showboat Suite and it was pure awesome. Great bed, wonderful jetted tub and a TV so big I almost didn't leave. The Breakfast was more than adequate and the views at sunset were gorgeous! Will be going back soon!”

“Lived here for a year the landlord is fair and gives everyone a chance and doesn’t judge. Have never had any problems with him, great place to stay in the summer 5 minutes walk from beach, grocery store Right next door, town bus stop right at the front of the house. Excellent spot for the summer”

“You get what you are looking for. Peace and quiet in a pristine environment. A bit long to get to and pitch black at night to drive through. The roads are kind of tricky to handle with a big travel trailer but the sites are beautiful and well spaced out which allows for space and privacy. Facilities are clean and functional but a bit on the breezy side in the Fall. One star less because our water spout was broken, and despite our urgent request got never repaired.”

“This is our second stay (in fifteen years!) and it is as delightful now as it was when we first found Arbor House. The pleasure is in the details - especially the lovely home-made treats for breakfast and snacks, which are abundant and delicious. The room is comfortable, quiet, and private, the colors are soothing and warm, and there's lots of light. The host's dining recommendations were spot on, there's a great supply of books, and even in deep winter the neighborhood is charming. The shower may be a little small, and the bathroom a tad chilly, but it doesn't matter in the least when you feel so well cared-for!”

“This place is the best. They have a rotating continental breakfast that is good! Quiece ( spellcheck), muffins, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, etc. And they are super nice. Respect your privacy. And it's clean and has character. It's quiet at night. Bath tub is cold if your looking for a bath. But who cares. Go here. It's awesome. Thanks for the awesome trip.”

“It's a fun place to explore with kids. I've only been in the off-season. There is a good playground, trails around the island, old bunkers, a small beach, a small lighthouse, an abandoned coast guard building, an old hangar, and boats. It's easy to spend about 2 hours exploring with kids.”

“Wish there was 10 stars but 5 is Not enough. spent 2 weeks at this location for work. and as soon as I arrived the front desk clerk was great she had a warm smile when I came in and got me into my room pretty fast. Had one issue with my sink not draining But the Lady in Housekeeping Jess came to my room and tried her best to fix it. She had to call in to Maintenance and Raf was there to fix the problem. Besides that My 2 weeks were great. Breakfast was awesome and on, and every night when I got back my room got cleaned and it smelled fresh and clean. Great staff Spoke to Front Office Manager Ida and she was a trip cracking a joke and smiling she made my stay even better. Mr Kevin C the general manger should be Very proud of his Staff..”

“We stayed here for a weekend and were so impressed with the quality of the accommodation. The room was amazing, bed so comfy, we just loved it! The building is immaculate and interiors are beautiful. Just oozes New England charm. It is so close to everything, and I couldn't have asked for a better bed and breakfast. The managers were so friendly and helpful - love it!”

“Very comfortable king bed. Slept well in room darkened by shades. Every thing looks new, probably because it has been open less than one year. One design change I would appreciate is to have a convenient outlet on the bedside tables.”

“Best Western review Arrived at night. The lady at the front desk was friendly, fast and efficient. The layout of this hotel is much like a motel. I thought it was dodgy at first. But when we got into the room I was pleasantly surprised. It’s spacious and clean. The bedsheets are clean, so is the bathroom. Can’t say much about the carpet but I always bring slippers to hotels. I asked the front desk for toothpaste and they have it for free. Behind the rooms looks like wooded area. Except for the occasional loud sound of doors closing, we had a quiet night. Breakfast was more than sufficient. There was scrambled eggs ( real eggs and not instant) and bacon. The usual variety for breads. But what I liked most was the make your own waffle station with several different toppings. The lady supervising breakfast was very nice and helpful.”

“Nice hotel overall. Rooms were updated recently and were modern. There was ample parking. Restaurant and bar on site with a ballroom for rentals. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor pool for the warmer months. Design of the hotel overall was a little odd, slightly eccentric but not really an issue. Close to the highway with several small restaurants nearby.”
