“One month ago we moved from Marblehead MA to Naperville IL and are still talking to everyone how absolutely fabulous T.E. Andresen is. From the very outset, when their rep Terri spent several hours with us explaining how the move would work, through the packing, the move and unpacking itself, to the delivery of our car (that was handled by them also) everything went according to schedule, everything went according to plan. The only surprise we got is that the movers showed up a few days earlier than we expected. We asked T.E. Andresen to pack our belongings as well as move the furniture, and the crew that came to our house was remarkable: they wasted no time, asked no foolish questions, were helpful and VERY considerate of our belongings. Nothing was broken, nothing was missing. The crew who delivered the furniture was professional also: putting each piece of furniture (which was packed with quilts) where we asked them to. We also had two pieces that were sent in their own Andresen custom made wooden packing crates. They were also delivered and unpacked with care. The crew who did the unpacking if our household goods also put away dishes, clothing, books, etc., exactly where we asked them to go. T.E. Andresen took all the stress out of our moving and we cannot recommend them highly enough. And Terri stood by us every minute: she was at our house when the movers began their work, and was always available to talk with us to answer every question we had. Thank you, and Bravo, T.E. I started my career reviewing companies in my field and using those companies for my clients as a consultant when all I had was my REPUTATION. I used Monster to do a move in December 2018 and here is why this might be the most important review you'll ever read on this company. An error was made, a pretty significant one, I ain't gonna lie I was kinda P'd and they MADE IT RIGHT. It's easy to earn great reviews when everything goes right. What DEFINES a company is what happens when something doesn't, what do they do? I had posted on my social media asking friends for recommendations on moving companies and I got a lot of responses. But when I started reviewing each company every last one of them had situations where it looked like they were "rug sweeping" this excuse, that or the other when they messed up. My friends were just in that part of the pie that didn't have any problems with them. There is NO finer quality of a company than when a mistake is made, than to address it. There's never a company out there that will never make a mistake, mine included, that's just being human. BUT there are only a handful of companies that will grab a mistake by the horns and do the right thing. THAT'S the defining quality in a business, whatever it might be. Monster Movers please never lose sight of this quality, it truly sets you apart from the rest of your field.
