The atmosphere is very calming while we were here for lunch.

(November 24, 2019, 11:52 am)Excellent service at a classic, red-sauce Italian place. There are some white-sauce options available. I could make a meal out of the bread and olive oil (with toasted garlic), but don't fall into that trap! The entrees are excellent; the desserts, divine. Portions size is good, and there is a good wine selection. The atmosphere is nice, but I feel like it would benefit from a fireplace, instead of the wine storage in the center of the dining room - especially as it was quite cool in the dining room during my visit. It's come-as-you-are, whether nicely dressed, or casual; suitable for solos, couples, groups, or families with kids. This is a place I will happily continue coming for delicious, classic Italian comfort food.
(November 23, 2019, 7:51 pm)Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We stopped on our way from Chicago on a whim. I cannot emphasize enough how much you should make this a whim stop. Order the pasta with prosciutto and do yourself a favor. Every server including ours - Lauren, recommended these. We called them pillows from heaven. However the gnocchi was also excellent as were the desserts. Every single meal I saw delivered looked amazing.
(October 8, 2019, 8:42 pm)Our server was attentive and patient with us. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come put but they supplied you with fresh bread to help your hunger. They have gluten free and vegan options. I got the mushroom ravioli and albeit a bit salty, it was flavorful. My vegan husband had the pasta pomodora and it wasn't dry or bland. He also got the apple crumble with no caramel or ice cream . Cute date night or work meeting location.
