Regency at St. Clair Shores

Janette and Carey are the most helpful and kind people in the admissions office. I have spoken to Janette numerous times and she has been so helpful and has a great sense of compassion..

My 89 year old mother was taken to Regency after hip surgery. She was scared, in pain and very anxious. The first person I spoke to was one of the admissions director, Carrie Deratany. She made me feel calm and comfortable immediately. She reassured me that my mom would be well taken care of, and she was! Jeannettee Babic was the other admissions director. She too, was so helpful and caring. This was a difficult time for my mom and our family. However, these two intelligent and professional women helped me through the process. Regency is very fortunate to have these two women as the face of their facility. Stephanie Garland, the social worker , has guided me through many decisions and honestly answered all my questions. She was patient, kind and empathetic to what I was going through. Stephanie is another employee that Regency is lucky to have! Every nurse has been outstanding, they treat my mom as one of their own family members. Crystal has gone above and beyond with help and care she has given my mom. I have no words to express the care and compassion the nurses aids have given my mom. They treated her with dignity and respect during many of my mom's embarrassing situations. Kate, one of the aids, has taken remarkable care of my mom. She calmed her fears, made her feel safe and gave my mom the strength she needed daily! These people kept a watchful eye over my mom when i could not be there. I had 100% trust in these individuals. NOW, the PT staff, WOW! These are talented and dedicated professionals who never gave up on my mom despite her limited abilities. Ash was the best! He showed compassion and strength with my mom yet, never letting her feel she was not worthy. The amazing staff of Regency saved my mom!

Months later our 90 year old dad still raves over his experience at Regency at St. Clair Shores. The staff was professional yet personable. We thank you so much for making his first experience so great.They helped us to problem solve as a family. And he loved the food!!
