“Our experience with Senior Health Shop has been exemplary. We initially explored our Medicare options on our own, figuring that this should be no problem for two people with a combined ten years of graduate education (including my Master of Health Administration!) WRONG. The more I read, the more confused I became. This was a critical life decision, and I was in a state of panic. What if I made the wrong decision, what if we were subject to life-long penalties, what if we were locked into a plan that did not meet our needs, etc. etc. We were then referred to Kyle at Senior Health Shop, and everything changed. First, Kyle went to great pains to identify our needs/objectives and financial condition – from both a short-term and long-term perspective. Kyle then reviewed our options, first sent the information to us to review, followed with a conference call to discuss his recommendations. Subsequently I reached out to him with questions --innumerable times through both email and phone. Kyle consistently responded within 24 hours. After analyzing the various Medicare options that he recommended, we arrived at the plans that were most suitable for us. Note that while Kyle made recommendations and explained their strengths and weaknesses, he was very clear that the final decision was ours. Kyle has a depth of knowledge that could never be gleaned by reviewing Medicare’s website, and has the unique ability to explain the numerous issues in a professional, clear and succinct manner.
