“This was my first time visiting this church. The services were outdoors and the pastors preached from the roof looking out to Scott lake road. This Pastor Rick had preached a powerful sermon to the people sitting in chairs in front lawn. Then they had a cookout and served lunch to the congregation along with games outdoors. I was impressed with the Pastors way to preach from on top of roof to reach all the people and to the surrounding houses and apartments. That was a really great way to reach the neighborhood. I would give him a 10 for that idea. The people were very friendly and open. The food was great, and the games were fun. Overall it's a very nice church. I will be going again. “Absolutely incredible experience. As I am currently a freshman in high-school now and was a member of the class of 2021, I couldn't say enough about this school. Whatever I accomplish in life, this school will be at the top of my reasons why. Having come here, the transition into high-school so far has been absolutely seamless, and I was able to earn a very large academic scholarship into a top high-school. However, I believe that the family environment what made my experience unmatched. The bond between the students and teachers allowed for an amazing learning environment. I would absolutely love to give an individual shoutout to each teacher that has changed my life for the better if it weren't for the word restriction on the Niche review since I would go far over. Though I am devasted that my time here is over at, I do love the fact that I can come back every Sunday for Mass where I'm able to see all of my old classmates again and return back to what feels like home.”

“Great church! Father Bill is fantastic. This Sunday service was a huge disappointment though. Father Bill was gone and a Jesuit priest filled in. Rather than giving an uplifting homily, he choose an inappropriate time to lecture all those present with his agenda. A sermon should be about God and Jesus, not about the 1619 theory , CRT, wokeness??? Don’t just be against racism, be an anti racism person. Really! Left a bad taste in a lot of parishioners !”

“This is an awesome place to find God in your heart. Truly a place to help guide you in the right direction in a very powerful way, as is with all churches. When I started going there back in October of 2021, I was having some rough challenges. Over the time that I have been there, I have learned how to be a better person by learning the many ways we can stay connected with God. This church also does a lot for people with disabilities, as well as anywhere else in the community. They even record they’re services (as with many churches starting wheb Covid was strong) and post them on YouTube later on the everybody’s church channel so that we can watch it whenever we want. Or, if your like me, do morning church everyday. I can’t say enough good things for all the things this church has done for everybody. For me, after having been there for a few months, they let me volunteer there as an usher. Now they’ve let me have an actual paying job there to support me and my family financially. I really enjoy working there. This church has really changed our lives and we are forever grateful for the opportunity this church has given and provided for all of us. Thank you sooooooo much first presbyterian church of birmingham Michigan, I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve given. Almost 200 years later and this congregation is still going strong. That’s how good they are at spreading the word of Jesus”
