“Camellias is a great Mexican restaurant. One of my sit down plant-based go-to's in Royal oak. They have authentic Mexican food, along with your standard TexMex so there's something for everyone. I find food pricing to be reasonable for what's provided. They have a bar inside that always seems to have someone at it. And the dining room is busy at dinner. Food has always been served quickly and has ordered, they don't seem to be bothered by special orders. I'm on a plant-based diet and I've never had a problem getting my food served plant-based, even having them substitute salsas for cheese. The servers are friendly. I've also ordered food to go, and even had them provide free soda water to me when I was waiting for my order. The restaurants in a residential neighborhood and I wondered if they would make it, by providing good food good service at reasonable prices it looks as though they're thriving.”

Played here last week and was rather impressed with the course conditions (I'm sure all the rain we've gotten this summer has helped them out tremendously). The entire staff here, from the clubhouse to the starter, are extremely friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great, no complaints there. Plenty of blind tee shots and lots of doglegs, which makes it a challenging but fun course to play. Looking forward to golfing here again in the future.”

“I've been eating at Chicken shack since I was a little child. In fact it was my first real job when I was a teenager. The best part about it is the consistency has always been there! They serve the best broasted chicken I've ever had. I would recommend the ribs and cod as well. Don't forget the Cole slat! My kids also love the chicken bites as well. “Weird I thought I already left a review. I’ve gone twice this month and somehow, this is the only Taco Bell getting it right. Both times the meat had good flavor and texture (beef and chicken), meat was hot, Mexican pizza shell super crispy, lettuce was fresh. I’ve gone to two other Taco Bell’s (Waterford and another one down in, I think it was Grand Blanc)… and the meat at both was lukewarm, chewy, and didn’t taste good. Mexican pizza shell also was no where near as crispy. Idk why this is the only Taco Bell with decent food anymore, but I’m glad it’s just 10 min from me and open til 2 AM. (I must’ve lucked out too, both nights, just one car at the drive thru!)”

“Stow Friday's. The food was good; ribs, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. We politely asked for bread. Friday's doesn't offer bread and butter, so we requested crackers and butter. Han**, our server, told us that Friday's didn't have crackers and butter. We really didn't believe it but decided it wasnt worth pursuing with her. When our food was delivered, by a different individual, we inquired about crackers and butter. She said no problem. Please advise your servers that they should check first before telling customers an item isn't available. As another example we asked about other veggie options. Other than a salad, we were advised that there were none. Fried green beans were on the menu (they are listed here on the survey). When ordering certain food items such as ribs and wings it is customary to provide wet wipes. We had to request them. When servers are conscientious we tip Well over 20%. When they aren't, we tip slightly under 20%. We all pay a price for marginal service. Friday's is worth visiting again. We enjoy the food and yes, one ondividual can make a difference. On a high note we choose to believe that the behavior of our server was an aberration. To her credit, she was perky...”
