Friendly people I love this grocery store

Yes it may have a smell some days but I don't mind! I was raised at this store and been in and out of here since I was 3 years old! When I'm not near the meat market on 6 mile I'm in superland at least twice a day or every other day as I live a block away! They have awesome deals! Come check them out please!

A locally-owned supermarket that has a loyal base of customers in northwest Detroit.

A few years ago a regional grocer was planning a new, large-format store about three kilometers north of Superland and I asked one of the Superland owners whether the new competition worried her at all. "No," she said. "We have been here thirty-some years. Our customers know us and we know our customers."

My coworker told me about the good deals on meat, particularly steaks. She gave me a flyer and I went today. I have been to meat markets before that actually had a smell of raw meat. Superland had zero smell and was really clean. Everyone there was so pleasant and helpful. I purchased the $189 meat bundle and I can't believe how fast the young lady had it done. I WILL be going back.
