(February 6, 2021, 5:36 pm)Baseball field with picnic area and 2 small hills for sledding in winter. my kids like the hills cause they aren't too tall so they can go on more sled runs. Rarely see people use this area in Hines Park so great place to let the kids play all year long.

(March 31, 2018, 12:40 pm)Since moving to the area 20+ years ago we always wanted to go see the Lights. We were there for the 'Wayne County Lightfest' 2017...this is esp. fun if you have young ones with you...but go on a week night...the VERY long wait killed some of the enjoyment for us. After an hour in line we reached a cross street where the Police who were directing traffic allowed motorists from the other street to cut in line that hundreds of us had been waiting patiently in.....WHAT should have happened is the Police should have directed those cheaters to the back of the line on Merriman...Overall...fun time...but we will NEVER go back on a weekend.
