“First time here. We ordered a chicken volcano and a steak burrito. The chicken was ok. I liked the steak burrito, it was definitely different that the regular burrito but it was good. The staff were friendly and nice, and the food didn’t take long to be served.”

“This was in walking distance from my hotel and that’s basically a no brainer. From experience, it’s relatively hard for diners to do breakfast wrong so I trusted my gut and the pictures and strolled over. It’s pretty spacious inside with many booths and tables, and bright and sunny thanks to all the windows. You seat yourself where you have menus at your table and then a server comes over to take your order. Priscilla was at my table quickly, dropping off utensils and getting my drink order while giving me time to peruse the menu. I had the two egg plate which comes with your choice of meat, hashbrowns, and toast, and a glass of apple juice. Let me just say that I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of juice brought out to me. Usually 8oz is the norm but Priscilla handed me a 20oz cup of ice cold apple juice that was worth every penny. I was in heaven! Anyways, the food was really good. I mean, it’s hard to mess up basic breakfast lol.”

“The food is amazing! Flavorful homemade comfort food! Reminds me of my own mothers cooking. I would eat here everyday. My favorite items are the catfish, chili, stir fry, and the fried potatoes with sausage, bell peppers and onions. The chili dogs are definitely a favorite too! Definitely a customer for life.”

“When I went to use the bathroom… it was atrocious. It ruined my appetite for the delicious cup of coffee I was about to enjoy. After I left the nasty bathroom, I went to the counter to get a drink anyway because nothing could be worse than that. The person who helped me was named top? and she helped me understand the menu and helped me find a good drink. Nobody else acknowledged me that day. Will not be returning. Good coffee, the bathroom seems to be proof of that. SMH.”

“The pork ribs are amazing and the sauce! The mac n cheese and the peach cobbler are beyond delicious. I tried them out and have been coming back for more! The lady behind the counter is very patient and just a sweetheart. I'm a big believer in supporting local businesses that have home cooked delicious food and they welcome you like old friends.”

“I'm impressed! The drive-thru is an absolute madhouse and yet the staff handles it with ease. Multiple lines, multiple staff members taking orders on tablets, plus shuttling everybody to various parking spots to wait for their orders, yet zero problems. The wait was not long and the order was hot, fresh, and accurate. Much respect to that team for handling an impossible amount of customers!”

“5 out of 5. My omelet, again, was wonderful. Bravo to the cook. The only thing is no real butter, just spread only. But no problem, I just bring my own.”

“Coffee seems to taste burned and too hot to drink or hold even with a sleeve. Evert time I order a croissant sausage sandwich or an avocado sliced bread, it's either burned or not cooked enough. Workers are pleasant but coffee and food has not been on point”

“Love this place my honey and I go here all the time. The employees are always so nice. However I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered something different. The steak and cheese pita. It was ok but way too salty. I'll go back but I'll never order that again.”

“Pretty decent experience. I've visited a few Penn stations before but this was my first time in Michigan. The speed of the service was decent for a staff of three young people. The plaza has plenty of parking but making a left into the plaza takes some patience (I wonder how long the construction project is scheduled for?).”

“The food is amazing and the customer service is equally as great. I’ve only encountered happy pleasant people here, but it was the first name basis walking through the door… like oh you pay attention, attention 💕 if this business is black owned… baby you all have set the standard.. I love it”

“We tried a new restaurant we had been talking about for months. From the moment we walked in we had nothing but 10’s across the board! Definitely love the atmosphere and the feel of the space. We started with the ‘Tackle Box’ appetizer including shrimp potstickers, calamari and ’Maui’ coconut shrimp with the most incredible dipping sauces. Entrees: ‘Twin Tails’ *THE best lobster I’ve had- ever, i mean EVER - with house choice roasted vegetables and potatoes. The veggies were so flavorful and so well prepared. Blackened Lake Perch* perfectly cooked and tastefully blacked with the best seasonings with vegetables and fresh made French fries -crispy on the outside with a soft inside topped with flaked salt. From start to finish our experience was top tier. Our waitress Felicia was more attentive than we could’ve asked for and was so conversational and friendly. If you try H20Seafood *which I highly suggest* I can guarantee you will not be disappointed - we’ll maybe that you hadn’t tried it sooner like we were. Absolutely our new go to! 🤍🐟🦑🦞🦐🐙🥟🍴”

“Went here for the first time tonight and I loved it. It’s really nice to find somewhere different to go, the whole space thing is super cool and their whole menu is a play off of that and it was super cool. The food was great, house margarita was awesome, and Tiffani gave us the most welcoming and attentive service. Also! The fact that they have a range of two dog hot sauces is great. Will definitely be coming back for karaoke on Fridays!”

“Very efficient help, friendly manager and the young man cleaning the dining area and beverage area I would say deserves a raise in pay. He kept working all the time we dine. Impressive Fast Food and kitchen staff.”

“Eating at this restaurant at 6 PM on a Friday was very relaxing and calm. There was even a nearby live piano player that added to the atmosphere. The beer (Marzen) was good; light and crisp, and the food was very flavorful; the garlic Parmesan fries were fantastic.”

“2 miles off of I 94 in the city of Belleville south of the expressway is the ultimate dining excursion for the Detroit area family Bayou Grill. Our knowledgeable waitress, McKenna or Mac if she prefers to be called was exceptional in her assisting us with her choices for the first meal that we will experience in the Louisiana style Cajun dining experience. Joe, the kitchen manager manager was about to prepare for us one of the best tasting meals we’ve had Throughout the Detroit area mind you I love all the places that I visit but this one was just a step above. We started out with the alligator bit and this was the unbelievable highlight of our meal loving to try unusual food. I took my fork, poked one of the alligator bits and dipped it in their special sauce, and popped it in my mouth, as I carefully chewed it, I said back and savored the delicious flavor of this tidbit. There was no flavor that would be unusual or strange or so far out that I could not finish this dish. In fact, it was so good that my partner and I enjoyed every tidbit as we savor the flavor. The outside crust and the sauce was just a perfect match for our first time ever eating alligator. I strongly recommend this particular plate, haven’t gone to the 1996 Olympics a New Orleans café set up free a free gumbo demonstration for people walking around the Olympic area and I got my first gumbo. Five samples later I was in love with gumbo not thinking that when I went to Belleville, if the Bayou Grill that their gumbo would be as delicious and fulfilling as I could imagine, and my taste buds were absolutely thrilled, I ordered the baked seafood which was a sampling of everything that they offer from shrimp to scallions to catfish to salmon in a savory sauce, and it was just mouthwatering. My addiction to tater tots was filled with the ample proportion that they gave me as a side dish with the catch-up I was in tater tot heaven. my partner had the grilled catfish platter and he loved it as we left we both marveled at the deliciousness of the cuisine at this butter. Joe was outback the kitchen manager who cooked meal and I was able to personally thank him for a fantastic meal I went as far as to buy a T-shirt that I will proudly wear with the alligator on it, especially if people ask if I really did eat alligator and I could say proudly yes I did, and I loved it, give this place of try it is so worth it. Please look at my photographs and I think you will definitely enjoy this. I wouldn’t order everything because it was a high bill for us to pay but we didn’t mind but I think if you do a couple dishes you want to come back and try others which we’re going to do and come back from war this was a treat and well worth the trip.”

“This store is always clean, fully stock, prices are good. Cashiers are nice. But there needs to be more checkouts open in morning especially on weekend. Fix the belts on lane 3 and 1.”
