“We are so lucky to have Tippins as a wonderful resource to our community. Their high-quality meats, pizza, wraps, sides, beer, liquor, etc., selection is so important to our lives. We are there several times a week and nearly all of the meat we cook is from the butcher at Tippins. It's WAY better than anything you will pick up at your typical stores. We usually enjoy the boneless Ribeye or NY Strip steaks along with great chicken and ground beef. About a month ago we tried the Tomahawk streaks and they were so good we went back last weekend and grabbed a few more. I put a simple rub on them and smoked them over oak, then reverse seared them to finish on the grill. Oh, my! They were SO good! The marbling was an explosion of buttery deliciousness! And of course their excellent Texas Potato Salad we had as a side. Ah, Tippins luxury! Here are a few snaps of the steaks.”

Oh my, I can tell you that the cupcakes I just had are the best I’ve had since came to US 11 years ago. We’ve had countless cupcakes from indie shops, Whole Foods, Wegman’s, you name it. No other cupcakes ever came close to how wonderful and balanced the cupcakes from Zingerman’s tasted. They just felt right and not artificial at all. If you are like me who finds things in the US are either too sweet or salty, Zingerman’s should be the right place for you.”

“I gotta say, been living nearby for my whole life, never realized there was a bakery here! Checking Lynn's bakery out was an amazing decision, she is an amazing and sweet woman. I ordered this pie for my birthday, and she surprised me with a little message, it brightened up my whole day. After I got the pies, she even carried them out to my car. “My girls have been wanting to come here for a very long time... we finally went and it was such a nice environment... the owner was there sorry I forgot his name.. but when I say he was sooo genuine and kinda. He gave my daughters some amazing 🍭 that they enjoyed very much! Both of my girls got a bubble tea.. it was nice a sweet.. not watered-down at all.. we froze the rest overnight and when they got home from school they finished them. “You have the best bagels. I like most of your customers have been coming to your business for years. The low star reviews and the owner’s responses paint a unique picture of frustration. I have also been in the food business for over 30 years, and I understand the challenges that every business is currently facing during this pandemic. Most of the challenges have been there prior to the pandemic but we never had an excuse like today. Not enough staff, expenses increasing, the demand for the product fluctuates daily, food waste and lastly the stress of the owner to put the time and effort into the business. We may be the owners of a business on paper, but the true owners are our customers. Our customer’s needs will dictate our hours of operation and level of customer service that is expected in every business. Telling customers the hours are posted and to call ahead for order sizes that are not that large is unrealistic. Being curt to customers is not new due to the pandemic. Being curt is part of this businesses DNA. Your customers are looking for more than 3 days of operations, your customers are looking for nice and friendly service and a great product which you already have. If you can’t provide this, then consider an exit strategy to let someone else run this business like the community expects.”
