“I have lived here for at least two years, almost three. My experience has been a very good one. Keep in mind that peoples’ perspective can vary a lot. What I consider a good experience, another person may not, and vice versa. I do find the barking from the dog park to be very annoying. However, if you happen to love dogs, then I guess such a sound would feel like heaven. The maintenance has been pretty good. The apartment streets tend to look spotless. But there is often trash/spider webs in the stairwells and in hallways that are oddly neglected. Someone just needs to walk through the buildings once a month or something and clean out the stairwells with a broom. The staff has generally been very responsive to problems I have reported. However, they need to change the vendor they are working with regarding the gate system. The gate system has rarely worked in the time I have been here. For some reason, the management has been reluctant to acknowledge they need a very different solution. The same problem keeps happening, which is that lightning storms damage equipment that takes a long time to replace, or otherwise cause problems that take a long time to properly fix. For years, the management has been patching this up with the exact same band-aid that keeps peeling off after a few months. They must accept the fact it’s time to work with another company with different technology for the gate. The current vendor, friendly though they may be, has failed them. I have had no problems with pests, until very recently, but I think it’s because of the recent anomalous hot weather. In my experience, traditional pest deterrents (traps, bait, etc.) tend to work very well. Since placing bait, I’ve not had issues. I am confident the staff will help if traditional solutions do not appear to work. And so, if you are so unfortunate as to have to live in Texas, this place is one of your best bets.”

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Dr.Sweeney and the entire Lakeshore staff! I contacted them for an emergency visit on Saturday and To my surprise on Monday morning I received a message from the staff and I am immediately called Dear Office explaining the pain I was in and that I was in dire need of a visit once again I was taken aback when they brought me in the very same day working with my schedule of needing to be seen after 1:30 PM. Let me add that I have extremely high dental anxiety I’ve had it for years in fact I have never been able to sit in a dental chair without nitrous being administered first however the staff were all so kind and welcoming and helpful and throughout my dental x-rays that were being taken the young lady calmly talk to me through it putting me completely at ease and once Dr. Sweeney entered the room He too spoke very gently and calmly. It was the very first time that I’ve ever been able to sit through a dental exam without nitrous and for me that screams volumes! This is the beginning of quite an extensive dental procedure for me and I have a little bit a ways to go until it’s completed but I cannot thank this amazing staff and Dr. Sweeney enough for calming my fear and helping me get through this appointment without being medicated. I highly recommend anyone who may or may not have dental anxiety to visit this incredible dentist and his staff! I promise you won’t regret it!”
