“Great playground but not much shade. The few trees they do ha e are very small and set back away from the play structure. The structure is in direct sun. Nice trails to walk and picturesque views!”

“It was a pleasure to do business with Resurrection cemetery. George Horattass went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail as to what I should expect! All the staff were cordial, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. Not to mention that the grounds are immaculate!”

“8-20-2022. My first time camping at a clothing optional resort. Had an amazing time. People were super friendly and started up conversations. I felt comfortable and respected. Loved the pool and hot tub. We stayed in cabin #2 and were not disappointed. Would definitely love to be able to experience a “punk out with your junk out” concert at the resort, would definitely bring more younger generations to continue this lifestyle. We will definitely be back.”

“Beautiful and serine! Love this place! I like to hike there every morning with little to no people on the trails. Lots of wildlife to observe! Place is very clean and the trails for the most part are well maintained. Good place to go close to home for that little piece of serinity.”

“A gorgeous area tucked away off M12. Filled with a ton of different trails, some very well maintained and others weaving through the woods. Many trails can be water covered or muddy if you come around any rainfall, but during the drier season, you should be fine with some boots. Some great views of the River Rouge, and plenty of wildlife including birds, squirrels, butterflies and dragonflies. A few benches along the way to stop if you need. Also, when heading towards Lilley, you can hear the sound of the power lines humming as you pass beneath them. Overall, a very cool, nifty, and enjoyable place to spend time hiking or biking!”

“It was a great snow hill! Just one big hill so easy to keep track of the little one's. The only think I regret is not bringing a chair as there's no where to sit and pulling the kids away from the hill was almost impossible.”

“Overall, the experience is okay. Most patrons keep to themselves and there's ample equipment for use. The only concern I ever have is the amount of water on the floor of the women's bathroom and the fact that people sometimes walk around with out shoes on after swimming.”

“It's a great park for the middle of the sub, play ground area and a large field that you could play soccer in.”

“Palmer Park has a little something for everyone. The first time I came here with my 4 year old son, just at the start of spring, and there were geese with little fuzzy yellow ducklings everywhere! Do not feed or touch the animals(not a petting zoo) but a great place to see wild amazing nature... in the city. there are two parks, a lake with islands and a windmill, super friendly ducks who swim up to you .. dont feed them... leave no trace there are trash cans... there is a cool nature walk through the forest from one park to the other splash pads in the summer and alot of people who love this place. Yes it is in city, yes, there are maybe some things you may not see if you are from the burbs parents.. but hey! it builds character, teaching moments right?... no the fountain doesn't work...but it's pretty cool and the splash pad does work! The playgrounds are awesome. mind the one by the splash pad that spinny chair does go fast. there are tennis courts, handball courts, basketball court, and disc golf course! orchards gardens and primitive grade a Michigan forest... that is fully accessible with a fully paved walking path if one is in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller.”

“This is a quiet park. The children’s play structure is in good condition. There is a short path here through the park. There are picnic tables and barbecue pits. The park is along the banks of the Bell Creek and so it is a restful spot. The basketball court is in generally good condition. There is one patch in it but it is still a good place to play. There are plenty of wide open areas for the children to run in. It would be a good place to get a sun tan. There are park benches here (backless) and some very nice picnic tables. There are a couple of standing barbecue pits. It is nicely cared for. It is a convenient shortcut through the neighborhood. I enjoy going here to enjoy Bell Creek and also to take a walk.”

“We had the most beautiful wedding at Van Hoosen. Jenna was so great to work with. She was helpful in answering questions and really went above and beyond the day of the wedding. The grounds were beautiful. They were so accommodating and had back up plans in case it rained (which it did before and after the wedding). We can't say how much we appreciated her and the entire Van Hoosen team.”

“If you are on the fence about taking your dog here? Just do it! We live in Livonia and Wixom is definitely out of the way for us but it’s worth it to know our pups are not only loved like at home but they are SAFE! They do their absolute best to make sure your pups are matched by size, behavior and play styles with other dogs to create a pack to run and play with for the day at daycare! Our pups onyx and copper recently were boarded there over the weekend and they had so much fun they were smiling in every photos they took🤣 below are photos from their recent stay! If you need peace of mind and a place to send your best friend when you can’t take them with you I would HIGHLY recommend hounds town!”
