“I stopped in Nicky D’s today for just a quick bite to eat and something healthy. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and ask if they had some cucumber slices. They were done absolutely perfectly and tasted delicious. I thought the price was extremely fair. You can sit inside and eat but because of the shortages and so they don’t have to hire a dishwasher, you will eat out of to go containers. Which I thought would be strange at first but it didn’t bother me one bit. And instead of them not letting you come in at all I would rather eat out of to go containers. They do have quite the following coming through the drive-through. I would recommend checking them out and I will be back.”

We called to find out a good time frame to visit since there was trivia on Wednesday. Staff were courtesy on the phone and both servers were nice during our visit. It does get packed for trivia but it is fun to participate. Will certainly visit again 🙂.”

“We were seated immediately and our waitress had our drink and food orders in within a couple minutes of arrival. Our food arrived very timely and was the correct temperature. Both tasted as expected. The way just came by a couple times to ensure we had everything We needed. Do note that they do charge you another 4.5% of the bill if you use a credit card to pay for your meal. Quite a lot of their booth seats need repairs.”

We encountered 4 different people including a bright young man I can only assume is the owners son who was not only pleasant and knowledgeable with us but also helped a team member you could tell was new. But the food.. You're here for the food. Bacon jam burger... Great. Collard greens (which aren't always available)... Great. Brisket sandwich... Great! Oh those sandwiches.. Bread is made in house. “Not a fan of Mediterranean Food. I had the lamb tender lion sauteed in wine and jumbo shrimp kabobs. The lamb was great but the shrimp was amazing. I have had grill shrimp at some of the best places on New England coast and the Crab Shack in FL. It was fresh and mini lobster tail size. Could not "one bite" these little slices of heaven. Service was spot on and the bartender Chrissy was sweetest thing. 6 Stars would love to eat here again.”

“My husband and I came to the area on vacation and decided to try this place. We are from California and didn't know anyone in the area to ask so we just went by reviews. This place did not disappoint. We loved the family feel and had I been hungry enough I would have tried one of everything. We got a pepperoni pizza, salad and triple chocolate brownie. All 3 were amazing. The pizza was like nothing I'd ever had before. I normally don't love pizza sauce but this was SO good. If we're ever back in the area I'll eat here again and highly recommend!”
