“Haven't paid a visit to GF in over 18yrs! Nice to come back to an establishment where consistency is revered and upheld! They've added broasted chicken which I had to try! So a combo meal of broasted chicken and rib combo! Ribs were meaty, juicey and the bbq sauce was exactly the same...Fantastic! My other diners had Chicken Shish kabobs, Pork Shish Kabobs and NY Steak with Shrimp, all was served with enough sides to feed 2ppl a piece! Needless to say to go boxes were required to take home the yummy leftovers. I do have to say that the size of the Kabobs were the surprise of the night, so tender, juicey, well seasoned and HUGE! Come for the ribs but get surprised by the Kabobs .....Priceless!”

“We always reserve our Sundays for eating oit with grandpa. It's become our tradition. We have our usual spots but on occasion we go for something new. Today was no exception. We drove around looking and happened upon The Village. We're happy we did. Yes they have the usual coney island style food, but it was definitely a cut above most places. The service staff was friendly and accommodating. Our food order came fast to the table. My two young ones are sometimes picky eaters and they just smashed on their food today. The fries were especially good. My wife's western omelette was huge and fully packed with goodness . Myself had a Ruben hit the mark. No one will be disappointed nor hungry upon leaving this place. Pricing is reasonable and pretty much as expected. If your looking for hot, delicious and fast served food definitely try here.”

We did not get any of the sauces we ordered on the side of the pizzas, and the wings were a little on the light side, so I tossed them in my air fryer and they were pretty good. “This was our first time dining here, and it won't be our last! Incredible Chinese cuisine in Farmington. I had the Mongolian beef dinner combination, medium spice, white rice instead of chicken fried rice, hot and sour soup, and a veggie egg roll. Hot tea was a black tea, my favorite tea. I would describe the entree as "happy tongue" because if my tongue could smile from happiness, it would be. The beef was cut against the grain and battered in corn starch, giving it a silky texture, the way it should be prepared! The Mongolian "sauce" was delicious and served the perfect spice temperature when ordered medium. Often the spice is under what you're looking for so as not to burn a sensitive palate. The soup was excellent, some of the best that I have had in a long time! Lots of ingredients that make up a proper hot and sour. Even the wonton chips were excellent! My wife offered almond chicken, egg drop soup, and a veggie egg roll. All were amazing! Her egg drop soup tasted like eggs and not chicken stock! We're already looking forward to our next visit, I'm going to have General Tso's chicken!”

Nothing popped or jumped out at us as particularly remarkable, but it is what someone would call comfort food, intended to make you feel full and content. The crowd was not very diverse, mostly retirees it looked like, or could have been the time we were in around 5 p.m. but seemed more of a local hangout place for generations who are loyal to it, which is fine, but it is definitely more of a family vibe, so not really a cool bar feel inside if you are looking for that. The staff is some of the friendliest I have ever encountered and went beyond attentive, as it felt like we were all family in a living room enjoying a meal together. If that is the vibe you are looking for, I would say it is the place for you. If you are looking for a hip, diverse crowd with a daring menu, not so much. It is perfect for a safe, family meal with no surprises if that makes sense. Recommend it.”

“Walk in and take a seat. Brody’s On Cass is an adorable little diner that captures the incredible smell of the grill across the entire place. Have visited this establishment several times, within in each visit food was fresh, cooked to order, fruit was crisp/juicy. Portion sizes are large, coffee was on the refill no questions asked. Some unique breakfast items I have yet to try, brisket hash I hear is pretty amazing. Occasionally they do sell out of certain items which must mean YUM YUM! Powder room was neat.”
