“Not to be dramatic but this Walgreens Pharmacy really saved my butt. I found out I urgently needed to start a course of antibiotics 1.5 hours before I had to leave the state. I called the pharmacy and explained the situation, and they were able to fill it within five minutes. Thank you!!!!”

“I recently purchased my second set of hearing aids. The audiologists are all very nice and professional but I especially like Kari Krause who works out of the Shelby Twp. office at 23 and Dequindre. My first hearing aids were in 2008 and the technology has vastly improved. The aids I purchased 6 weeks ago are Phonak and they recharge overnight so no batteries. I wear them all day and charge when I go to sleep. I wore them for a trial period of 2 weeks and after one week I knew they were the right ones for me. At first they were itchy off and on in one ear but if I just ignored it it went away and after 3 weeks my ears adjusted. There are many aspects that I love including they are so comfortable I have forgotten to remove them before I go to sleep (one time I heard my breathing and wondered what it was!). I have heard soft sounds like the keyboard and mouse click which I never heard before. In a group setting I can hear the people I want to hear and the settings automatically adjust. I think this must be what normal hearing sounds like, they are very realistic without picking up sounds you don't want to hear. Update: I recently purchased another set of hearing aids because the technology has improved in the past 5 years and what a difference these make. The best new accessory allows my TV to stream to the aids so I was able to turn off closed captioning. I could have had the volume on high but the clarity was not there which anyone who has hearing loss can attest to. I can program from my phone and my texts and phone calls come into my ears thru bluetooth. These new generation hearing aids are remarkable.”

“My husband had decided to place an order online yesterday. When it came time to pick up, I went to the restaurant and they couldn't find the order. Apparently my husband was having trouble with ordering and accidentally ordered for the next day instead of same day. The workers/owner were so kind about the situation and quickly made the order for us. I felt bad because it was 100 percent not their fault. But they were respectful and quick to get us the order. Then in the shenanigans that I and my husband created, we accidentally were given one of the wrong items. They allowed us to keep the incorrect item as well as what we ordered. Even though the mix up was initially on our end, they were more than accommodating. Much appreciated. And the food was enjoyed.”

“I have to laugh reading some of the negative reviews here. Annie’s music is not trying to be all things music to all people and in my opinion it is rather foolish to expect it to be. What they are very good at is stocking virtually all of the required music for local competition, especially for school age piano students. This place is a literally a godsend for piano teachers. They carry a few accessories like guitar strings, clarinet reeds, etc., as a service. Obviously, they are not going to have a comprehensive selection of these things like you would find at Guitar Center or a store specializing in band rentals. To expect that they would carry these things at the same price as a high volume retailer is not very smart. I’m not looking forward to the day with all the brick and mortar music stores are gone and I am grateful along with many other teachers that Annie’s Music is there. I am sure it has been a struggle for many of these retailers to keep going during the pandemic and as things improve, I expect to see these businesses able to carry more stock, more variety and hire more employees. For now, I think we should all support them and treat the employees with the respect and kindness they deserve for being there to serve you.”

“I ordered some Rack cards to promote my business at local shops. I had ordered some previously from an online company and the color of my logo was more purple than the blue it was supposed to be. I took my existing rack card to H.E.L.P printing and they made sure my logo was the blue it was designed to be. My order came in fast and I am 100% satisfied with my order. Thank you H.E.L.P It’s great to work with actual people rather than a website. I will definitely be ordering from you again.”

“This is an interesting store. The perfect way to describe it is if Sam's Club and Save-A-Lot had a baby, it would be this store. The prices are higher than competitors yet there are some unique quirky things here that you can't find in many other Michigan stores. I come here for the Chicago style Italian Beef (I'm from Chicago and it's pretty authentic).”

“Long overdue review. Chris re-did multiple rooms in our house including 2 bathrooms with impeccable results. Most work was done at the beginning/mid pandemic and with shortages and backorders everything still came out with the best results. Would recommend Chris to anyone in a minute.”

“Friendly attentive service. My guest & I dined in; a few tables and corner area with loveseats available inside this quaint place. Did not know about this place, even though passed it driving down Eureka many times. I found it when in search of trying bubble tea. I ordered a small frappe with mocha flavor & whipped topping. I liked you could choose from many different flavors & toppings. I also got a breakfast item; 3 cheese bagel. My guest got the brown sugar bubble tea. Frappe had good tasting coffee flavor; was not overly strong; perfect for my taste. My bagel had a good cheesy flavor but I should of ordered cream cheese to make it less dry. My guest enjoyed trying the sweet bubble tea Guest's first time trying bubble tea so I can not really comment on that experience. I will return to try different flavors of frappes.”

“I love the Breastfeeding Center of Ann Arbor! Everyone there is so caring and helpful. Barbara and Jessica are awesome, I have had appts with them both. They truly care about helping you and are really good at identifying what the issues are on top of that. I just left there today and feel a renewed sense of confidence in myself and my breastfeeding plan. It's like a mini therapy session and all moms need that! They hold a weekly breastfeeding cafe where all in the community are welcome. You can use the scale to check in on your little ones weight and see what they're getting from the feeding. It's a great opportunity to meet amazing women and get guidance. Jessica comes around and checks in individually on everyone. All the interns are just as awesome. I really can't say enough nice tings about them. The only downside I can see is that they don't take my insurance so I pay out of pocket but honestly it's the best money I've spent in a long time. Skip a dinner out and there ya go!”

“I searched for months for a reliable vehicle for my family, and then I stopped here and got a 2010 Chevy traverse. It had good miles, it was very clean, and I've had it for 5 months now and haven't had one issue. The sales team doesn't follow you around like most. They were super nice and reasonable!”

“Called this florist as it was near the delivery location. The owner put together exactly what I hoped for-a practical fruit basket with some extra treats and some baby boy flair. She was kind and pleasant to speak with over the phone. Price was right, too. I felt I received a good value. Our friends sent us a pic of the finished product -they loved the beautiful basket so much! I recommend supporting this business that went above and beyond!”

“I recently bought a used Heritage 150 electric guitar at this location and the whole experience couldn’t have been better. The store is well stocked with everything from low priced beginners gear all the way up to anything a touring pro could need. The staff, Milton and Alec were great and the store manager took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I’m a very happy customer!”

“🌸🌸🌸HIGHLY RECOMMEND🌸🌸🌸 I went online the day of my Moms 73rd birthday, picked the flower arrangement but the same day wasn't available. I message Michelle the owner and she made the impossible happen. Michelle made sure my Mom got her flowers on her special birthday, she was so surprised. The arrangement was beautiful more than I actually pictured it would be. I am so impressed that “the owner” went above and beyond to make sure her clients order was filled and delivered as promised. Thank you Romulus Flowers! You will have all my business moving forward❤️”

“This place is an excellent combination of an independent and used books store. The location is not that big, but they have a nice variety for their size that seems well-curated. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a good mix of paperback and hardcovers, a cute children’s area, and a small number of collectible titles. I would check this place out again when I am in the area.”
