Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center (Anoka Cty)

This is such a beautiful place to come to with the kids or for runs or walks in the park and the fishing is great and so many things to do here and beautiful as well. I love bike riding with the family here and pokemon hunting is good here too!

Information inside building coming from knowledgeable workers. Vending machines and water fountain also. Air conditioned inside rest rooms and big outdoor John's. Walleye and small mouth good fishing

Nice big park with a little of everything! Hiking, picnic areas, playground, fishing, wildlife, bike trails, bird watching, photography, snowshoeing. You can choose to be more secluded (inner trails) or hang out by the busy area's (dam & fishing piers)There's a $7 pass to enter but it's worth it, so much to do and enjoy.

Love this park. The trails and areas are well maintained. Even with there are lots of people, it doesn't feel crowded.

This is a nice park. The fee to get in was $6. I did not attempt to enter the visitor center so I don't know if it is open during the pandemic. The trails were well maintained and there was adequate parking. There was a nice view of the dam from the trail I was walking on. I saw quite a few shelters, but did not go under any of them. Overall, I liked this park.
