I had some really rough experiences with prior dentists, repeated failed root canals, and a lack of proper pain management during an extraction after, because the doctor felt it was "almost done" and ignored my indications of pain. I have been hesitant to go *anywhere*, but after accidentally biting down on a *screw* hidden in a protein bar a couple days ago, I had to get checked out. I called yesterday and had my first appointment at NJC Dentistry today. The entire staff were very helpful and kind from the moment I called to the moment I left. Dr. Cashman herself was SO friendly, so warm and funny, that I was immediately put at ease. She is exactly the dentist I needed to find to stop feeling terror at the idea of going in. It is such a relief to find a dentist that makes you comfortable, who is clearly very knowledgeable, and communicates easily with patients in a respectful and compassionate manner.
