“It's nice and clean and quiet. Even a hot Saturday noon and I almost feel like I'm betraying just by drawing attention to it. No alcohol means just that. It's quiet and there's a few people but it's well patrolled.”

“Parking lot is a sloppy gravel mess.”

Sunnyside Park

Address: 750 Clover Leaf Pkwy NE, Blaine, MN 55434, USA

Park

“Nice neighborhood park with a children's play area, basketball hoop, connection to walking trails, a multi-use building, a large mowed grassy area, porta-potty, and a parking lot. There is a water tower on a hill and that hill is a gentle sledding hill for children in the winter. Those with a sense of exploration will find a bike trail along the back of the park.”

Able Park

Address: Spring Lake Park, MN 55432, USA

“Old faitful SLP hockey rink at Able Park. Always open. It was 10 degrees today. It snowes 5 inches a couple days ago. All other rinks around are closed. I checked. Good skate.”

Delaplane Preserve Park

Address: 536 SW Linden St, Stuart, FL 34997, USA

Park Car repair

“Delaplane Preserve is a 51 acre preserve located along the south fork of the St. Lucie River. Although it is large only a small part of it is accessible. There is a 6 car parking lot. From there you hike a 1/4 mile hard packed gravel trail through live oaks and cabbage palms before you get to the river where there is a fishing dock, canoe and kayak launch, and picnic tables. Adjacent to the dock is a tree with a rope swing. According to the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center, the river is pretty polluted so I don't know if it's advisable to swim. The Martin County Public Works Department has restored the wetlands and native plants and are working to remove the exotic plants although I did see quite a few of them. The preserve is home to the threatened gopher tortoise and while I didn't spot any I did come across two rabbits by the river. There are a number of nature preserves in the area. While this preserve isn't a destination by itself, when combined with the other natural areas nearby it can become a wonderful afternoon visiting the nature of Martin County.”
