  Nice message pastor. Praying for a church family. Felt more of a famine,then a family. Met old friends, said we need to return.

  We've been here a year now and love where the congregation is and where the leadership is guiding us. Holding to the truth of scripture and challenging all of us to live out the great commission I would say is the core values. Members and staff truly care about one another.

  I come from a Lutheran background. I love the Biblical teaching, sound doctrine, great teaching and contemporary worship at Oakwood. This church is multi-generational. There are a lot of families with young children, as well as a strong empty-nesters group, and everything in between. Oakwood is very welcoming, and places a strong emphasis on "Community" and connecting with others. Services are at 9am and 10:30am. From 10-10:30am the gathering space is filled with folks talking to each other. So many friendships being formed and growing every Sunday and throughout the week. That's a good sign.

  For those who want or need a community church and all that goes along with that, Oakwood may be a good option for you. As when looking for a new doctor, one should always go, see, meet and experience before making a final decision. If you're looking for God, well, try looking around you. If you're looking to have a worship experience with a body of believers in your community and to feel a sense of belonging, Oakwood could meet that need for you.
