Has a large playground for younger children and many soccer fields of various sizes and 1 baseball field. Frequently full parking lots for soccer on the weekends. Well maintained turf by the city of Lakeville. No night lit fields at this park”

“Beautiful new amenities and upgraded features. Park resides next to a small airport where families can see small craft takeoffs and landings of modern and historical airplanes. Ample seating with parking lot and street side parking. Water fountain and port-a-jons available. Long walking path surrounding the soccer fields is a plus! (In response to a review: Baseball fields were relocated to brand new facilities at the Kaposia Landing recreation area off of Concord Ave.)”

“A very cute little park with a field, a basket ball court, a playground and a tiny walking path. The walking path takes about 5 minutes or less to walk around. There are a lot of ducks in the pond and benches to on.”

“Interesting place to visit, some good hiking in the woods and wildlife if you look for it. During deer hunting season in November, non-hunters should probably find some other place to go as there are many guns in the woods, or ware plenty orange and make some noise. The roads are basic dirt, can be messy and rutted when it rains.”

“Eagan has done some good events here, but it can be hit or miss. Sometimes the descriptions make you think it's something different than what it is. Also there are events where you have to get tickets and the site doesn't actually link you to them. In general the farm house is nice to tour and area is nice with a playground nearby for kids.”
Address: 13501 Upton Ave S, Burnsville, MN 55337, USA
“There are two playgrounds within the same woodchip area. One for 2.5 and up and another for kids 4 and older depending on capabilites. No handicapped accessible gear. Watch your bags as the ants are abundant. The sledding hill is huge. You'll have quite the ride down and a nice long hike back up. There is an ice house with two skating rinks nearby. Plenty of parking.”

“Nice park, love the couple unique climbers they have and the slides are taller than most, which was fun. A little closer to the street than we like, but overall it was a nice park. The half court basketball hoop needs a little work, it's crooked, but you can tell it was a nice hoop, at one point.”

“TVC Southside does an amazing job with maintaining the property and making their tenants feel welcome. The exterior looks stunning great curb appeal, buildings are maintained and the common areas are cleaned. A lot of the apartments are on the smaller size but they are nice & cozy. The original hardwood flooring in my living room is fantastic! Maintenance are quick to come out and resolve any issues you may have. TVC keep up the phenomenal work you are doing!”

“This DNR Scientific and Natural Area (SNA) preserves a unique sand prairie. Few pristine prairie remnants are left in Minnesota and fewer still in the Twin Cities area. Typical prairie species are found here (such as little bluestem, lead plant, wild rose) but also species that thrive in very dry soils such as needle grasses, hairy puccoon, and spiderwort. The prairie is also blanketed in poison ivy so if you are sensitive, take precautions.”

“Moderate size playground equipment, mostly targeted to younger kids - nothing too fancy or unique as far as the equipment itself goes, but again, it seems mostly targeted toward younger kids. Not a whole lot in way of shade, though but there is a little pavillion with two picnic tables underneath it. Full size basketball court and a softball diamond. Tons of open grassy space to run around and play in. There is no public restroom building, just a port o potty.”
