It's a large church but they are doing a great job of building a sense of community and giving people a lot of ways to connect with each other. They are open and honest about what is going on behind the scenes and they make decisions very intentionally. They are welcoming to all, no matter their past or present circumstances. They love well instead of judge, which is one thing that is missing from a lot of churches. We love it!”

“My 2 kids have been attending MELA since kindergarten and pre-school. This is their second year there and they just love it there. The teachers and staff are all dedicated and attentive to the students’ needs. MELA has just been awesome especially since the pandemic has started. The online education is very well structured; even though the kids don’t physically go to school, they still feel like they go to school. Even though the school is 25 minutes away from our residence, we decided to let them stay there instead of moving them to another school that was just 4 minutes away from us, due to the facts listed above in addition to the diversity in the students, teachers and staff body. Above all, the communication between parents and staff/teachers is always on point. During the car parade, son’s kindergarten teacher went out of her scheduled route just to come visit him. That shows how dedicated the teachers are and some will go beyond just to ensure that their students are valuable to them. We are blessed to have our kids attend MELA and we salute and appreciate the teachers and staff. You guys are doing a great job!”
