Wabun Picnic Area

Such a great afternoon to go and walk around the falls it's been years since I been there.

Beautiful area. Lots of room for everyone. Minneahaha Falls close by.

Great playground amd picnic area. Awesome smaller disc gold course for beginners or for working on your game.

This picnic area has everything you need. Access to a bike trail along the Mississippi, a disc golf course, several large shelters with many tables, bathroom facilities, a big playground, and trail access to Minnehaha Falls. Parking here is also free, which is a nice bonus. This is one of the gems of the Minneapolis park system.

The playground at this park is phenomenal for kids! I took my two-year old grandson there and almost had to drag him away when it was time to go. The playground equipment is state of the art - creative and fun and challenging, but very safe. It's a beautiful setting, too, with lots of trees and a flock of geese that waddle through the area. I will definitely be coming back here again!
