I’ve been here at the old and new location multiple times. I am impressed relentlessly with every experience here. The food is authentic, the drinks (I never have just one), the servers are fun and the owner really cares about the community. I have absolutely no problem supporting a Business and staple of our community such as this one. Highly recommend!

Came out for the first time on our anniversary and was NOT disappointed! We had the chicken and waffles, 1/2 chicken, greens, grits, biscuit, corn bread, cucumber salad.

PROS (what we liked):
I turned my nose up when the chicken and waffles arrived - big pieces of chicken on these soggy little waffles, the drumstick looked burnt.... but

OH MY GOD - crispy skin, juicy meat, and them waffles had ALL the flavor. I ate the skin and put the meat some of the meat on the waffles.

Unfortunately, that "burnt"drumstick was just crispy sweet flavoring and it didn't stand a chance of being used for the waffle - I ate that thing up and was wanting more!

Left overs the next day, were just as delicious - the skin still had a little crunch.

I wanted grits and the waitress recommended the greens to go with. The grits were creamy and when combined with the heat of the pork and greens - yummy!

The bacon biscuit wasn't anything fancy, just tasted like a biscuit - I used it to sop up the juice left by the greens - THANK YOU!

The waitress was great - attentive, friendly.

What we didn't like:
~ the cucumber salad
~ Brown Bible was overwhelming - but we found two we liked!

Superb service, shout-out to Tyler! I had Jambalaya and it was well seasoned. Did not love the rice but the shrimp was perfection! The appetizer platter we had was awesome and delicious as well. Kudos to the chef!
Tab was a bit pricey for non-formal dinner(outdoor sitting) and there is a dine-in charge as well.
Overall, I will definitely visit again.
Oh! The recommended bum bum room cocktail was very refreshing, gin, rum balanced well with the remaining flavors👌🏾

This place is really great. We ended up going two days in a row because the food was so good. I couldn’t be stop thinking about the chicken and biscuit. I ate the leftovers cold and it was even more amazing. The service was pretty fast and very friendly. The new patio is huge, shaded and full of plants. Really pretty. There is so much more on the menu I need to try. We will be back!

Ate dinner on the patio. Food was good and place was bustling. Place deserves a five star and just the last service experience didn't meet that standard.

Our server forgot us for a while, despite us trying to wave her down multiple times. She was attentive at her other tables, so not sure why we were overlooked. Waited almost a half hour for a water refill and request an additional plate.
