“I signed up my dad for Sholom hospice a week ago. My father is in an assisted living that works with a different hospice service but my husband works in the senior care industry and he told me to use Sholom because of their outstanding reputation. After the initial assessment, my father has received two visits: a specialized massage therapist for his Parkinson's and an aid who gave him a bath. My father declared the massage "the best massage I've ever had in my entire life" and the bath "the best shower I've ever had in my entire life" and my mother was over the moon to see him having a great day for a change (two great days, actually!). I do not have the words to describe how it makes me feel to see my parents experience these moments of unhindered joy during this most difficult time. I do not believe in god but these people are doing god's work, truly. To clear up any confusion, their full name is "Sholom Johnson Hospice Agency" but they seem to go by either Sholom Hospice or Johnson Hospice.”

“I have taken my son here since he was a toddler - he is now almost 7 years old. They have a great atmosphere for kids (including kids' movies at each station!) The stylists make your child feel comfortable with getting a hair-cut, which was especially important when I first began bringing my son for haircuts. Top-notch results at very reasonable prices! I'm glad they have added extra staff at the location closest to my home!! Booking online is also convenient. 5 Stars!”

“We have been banking at Sunrise Banks since they were first created; we had been at the American Bank prior to the 1990's, and were fortunate to have followed our banker from there to Sunrise. We have maintained several accounts there for decades for the business we own, and for some personal accounts too. A few years ago, someone had hacked us somehow and was in the process of transferring $90K from one of our accounts to some account in So California! A banker, that knew us personally, called me on my cell and asked if I really wanted to transfer that sum that day! It was fraud, and their personal touch saved us a fortune. Sunrise is a social benefit bank, and the best bank in the world for any small business, especially SBC's, minority owned and even our C, Sub S and LLC companies! If you want cheap, personal credit cards -- go somewhere else. This is a business bank.”

I’ve been searching high and low for tall boots to fit my calf measurements, but with COVID being COVID, all the big online tack shops & manufacturers themselves were backordered in my particular size. Wyldewood popped up in an extensive search and had my boots. I called them up to make sure they were in stock before ordering & the employee (I should have written her name down) was so helpful discussing my measurements & whether these boots would meet them (or other possible options). I placed the order and the boots shipped that day, arrived much sooner than I expected, and I was pleased to find treat samples included in the order with a handwritten note. My lesson horse is going to get spoiled this weekend. Oh yes, and the boots are perfect!”

“I ordered a set of ski bindings; I was told they would ship within a week. A month passed, no word. I tried calling multiple times, they hung up on me after 20 minutes on hold each time. I emailed, no response for literally 3 months. And that response was to inform me that the bindings were out of stock. Mostly frustrated with the lack of communication here- I always understand if it takes longer to ship, it’s just nice to know the status of the order. Edit: change from one star to five. I had the above scenario happen to me. After leaving the review, William from The House reached out wondering if he could help in any way. I had previously gotten myself ski bindings elsewhere so I didn’t need anything. However he sent me a VERY generous gift card to redeem at The House. They managed the problem very well and made sure to change my mind about them! Excited to purchase something with the gift card! Thanks again! Edit 2: I ordered Marmot Featherless Hoody Jacket a couple weeks ago. I since received a promotional email about a sale on that jacket (with a lower price). I reached out to William to inquire about any chance of me getting the newer, cheaper price. He VERY promptly got back to me, offering me the lower price. Seriously so unexpected but appreciated. “This was my very first apartment renting experience and it's been great. All of the managers and staff are friendly and efficient and they're super involved in the community (putting together activities for kids that live there, having events for tenants. Etc.). When you bring something to their attention about your apartment, they're very quick with fixing the issue! I'm really happy I chose lamplighter village apartments for my first apartment and I'd do it all over again if I could. :)”
