“Just a note: No credit card, cash or check only! This space has changed twice in one year! The man was kind and fair in pricing. Incredibly he remembered me from over a year ago and exactly what we bought! Now his space seems to be half an art studio now and half antiques. More furniture and larger items, all seem to be in better shape compared to stuff across the street. Overall, he has larger-size items, seemingly more legitimate as far as 'antiques', that are higher quality compared to some of the things at the other local offerings. I overheard him say that RC Mall Antique Mall across the street was fun to look at with 'great stuff' to some guests. He also said 'we are always changing here' -- I highly recommend!”

“My mom was recently transferred to Cerenity TCU after a fall and partial hip replacement. The facility was recommended by her hospital, and they were also the only ones that responded to a referral for a new patient. From the start, the entire staff was kind, responsive, efficient and recognized our worries and concerns about leaving our mom. She had never been to a facility and had lived with us for several years before her recent fall. A nurse (Jessica) called us that evening and explained that she was able to communicate well with my mom (who is mute due to aphasia) and reassured us she would be mom's point person in case of communication gaps. She said that mom gripped her hand when she told her and smiled. This was great news and so reassuring. Ellen, in ADMIN, met us outside at drop off and was so kind and reassuring. She called later to confirm appointments and check on things and would take messages from me to mom. I also called the nurse's station every few days to check on mom, and was always met with a friendly voice. Despite mom's terrible balance issues, she never fell at Cerenity, even with learning how to use a new hip. Maria, the social worker, was a tremendous help in assessing and gathering reports about mom's current condition and assisting us in determining what the next step would be after TCU. She arranged outside visits for me with mom (once they were allowed), and went out of her way to stay in touch and keep us updated. After a few weeks, mom was referred to 24/7 care and Maria helped us find a new facility and it was closer to home. She even helped pack mom up and gave me a call as mom was on her way with transport to the new facility (where I was waiting). She was so thoughtful. I wouldn't change a thing about mom's care and experience with Cerenity. She went into the facility crying about having to go there, which broke our hearts, and within a couple of days, was giving me the "thumbs up" via video that she was very comfortable, content, happy, getting good care, and yes, even the food was good! Because of her great experience at Cerenity, mom was willing and accepting to moving to 24/7 long-term care where she will continue to receive the level of care she had at Cerenity's TCU and that she now needs. I highly recommend this facility and all the staff that work there.”

“This review is of the pool for swimming lessons. The instructors are kind, patient and knowledgeable. My son has taken three group courses and 1 semi-private course. We continue to take lessons here because they understand his abilities and challenge him at the level he is at. When we tried another place for lessons, a parent/child course, it was so poorly run, he quit 3 lessons in. The class was way too advanced for a beginner course. The water was freezing and the instructor was not engaging. It took him another two years to muster up the courage to try learning to swim again. The only reason I didn't give the pool 5 stars was because on busy nights seating is limited. You may have to stand. The pool does not have a diving board which could be beneficial when teaching diving into the water. But I appreciate that they keep the water so warm for the kids and that there are no drafts since there are no windows. We will continue to take lessons here until my son is a proficient swimmer. Our hope is that he can do all four major strokes and also swim the length of the pool. Just getting over his fear of the water was a huge victory and I have the New Brighton Parks and Recreation to thank for that!”

“I've been here 5 years. The unit was completely rehabbed before I moved in. Everything except the walls was brand new. Over the years there have been some shady ppl living here, but most of those people are gone. This place has become a nice place to live. There are a few trouble makers still living here, but I hope they will soon be gone too. The Wolkowicz's are very quick to respond to repairs. I do not have any bugs or mice. Pay your rent on time, treat others office staff and neighbors with respect and you'll love living here.”
